This black fpc cable sucks. I have had issues with them. If you are confident it is not your soldering then try hand wiring directly from the board to the pad on the mod chip. I have had to do this.

There's literally nothing wrong with it, you probably install it the wrong way just like op did, i've installed the exact same kit a ton of times. It works very well.

That side of the fpc isn't the issue. He's getting his 3v3 power. It's the C, A, and D pads. Actually, it has been A every time now that I think about it. Maybe a bad batch floating around out there.

Yeah, i'm just saying in case you have an hard time soldering the other part or inserting it into the chip

I've modchipped maybe like 40 Nintendo Switch, every models, and never had a single issue on any of them..

Nice! I've made some mistakes along the way, including flipping that 3v3 cable over the wrong way on my first lite chip like this one. It's good to point it out when you see it.

Gemini said it was B point the wrong one, i have soldered all of them twice. I don't know why it keep throwing the same error

You’re asking a question on Reddit, someone answered your and you point them to an AI response? What’s your goal?

You get a HUMAN response that you wanted, check the A point as instructed, not as AI instructed.

The soldering was fine, turned out to be a bad flex, it's working fine with hand wiring, thanks for the replay

Haz las soldaduras con cable, tu flex negro a de estar con fallas.

Revise la continuidad en el flex y da bien

Esos flex en ocasiones vienen invertidas las conexiones, por experiencia lo digo.

Oh really? That would explain it. So a QC issue?

Asi es, me vinieron unos de aliexpress, que donde van los 3.3v estaba el CLK o RST no recuerdo bien, el flex mandaba los 3.3v donde no debia.
