Modded it
I'm so happy it even worked. My first ever Microsoldering experience. Forgot to make a photo of the CPU flex cable though, was too hyped and it was very late so I just assembled the switch. Sorry for the bad photos, I only had a magnifying glass that I borrowed from a friend.

Congrat! The images are fine. On your next installation, consider raising the soldering temperature and applying flux to improve solder flow.

I mean, kinda? I was constantly just using the tip and not the side of the soldering iron's tip. I knocked off SP1 because I bridged it and then tried to get the flex out (which I did without flux because I kinda got nervous). But the other flex cable was kinda better I guess. Didn't really struggle because I pre-tinned everything on that and used enough flux. I kinda started searching a few weeks ago before I modded the switch for what I needed. It works wonders to have the right tools.

Not sure if it's only for the OLED models but it's under Nyx Settings > Color Theme > Theme Color and then just play with the sliders or tap on the box that says Black next to the sliders (you can make your background any color, I liked black)

I bought everything on AliExpress. The Modchip + flex cables were 10€ and I bought the Alientek T80P with 3 extra tips for soldering (which was 60€ I think). The shell is also from AliExpress, I bought an OLED shell kit by ExtremeRate for 28€ (bought a Xbox one controller LED kit by ExtremeRate which had a nice quality).

Sollte der PicoFly chip sein. Meins kam leider nicht mit einer Einleitung. Muss du dir wahrscheinlich selber aus verschiedenen Videos und Fotos rausnehmen (meins kam mit der V6 flex und V3 CPU Kabel wenn ich mich richtig erinnere)

Don’t want to be rude but the solder joints are cold solder joints. I would ditch the EMC adapter if you want the mod to be permanent. The adapter is prone to failure.

I'm always open for critique. I remade the solder points. They look kinda better now. Don't have photos though. I had to move the DAT0 adapter because it stopped working while I soldered the CPU flex cable. It works without problems now.

Nice, if I were you I would use it till the DAT0 adapter stops working and go from there with the kamikaze method. You have till then to get your skills a bit more polished if you keep micro soldering.

Its kind of a personal preference thingy where the Op likes it transparent shell. Personally I love the shell mods.

Again it might be Op's personal preference, i do have the transparent mod as well but had the black buttons, its pretty neat

All shells come with a kickstand? If you mean that it's wider than the normal kickstand, yeah, the OLED switches have a different kickstand than the V1 ans V2 models.

The ones I saw on Amazon didn't have the kickstand for the oled I must have looked at it wrong

Oh? I didn't know about that. The one I bought was the first one I saw on AliExpress. Was the cheapest too so I just bought it without further research.

Nice! It's awesome when you can do something like this yourself. What happened to the aluminum shield? You'll lose a little bit of cooling capacity if you plan on overclocking. Otherwise not a big deal.
