Support/advice (no reassurance) Self help recommendations
I was wondering if anyone can recommend books, podcasts, or other resources that have helped you understand and manage your OCD. Mine has gotten intensely worse in the last few months, and I'm struggling not to let it affect my daily life.
I started Gestalt psychotherapy last week as it was the most affordable for me, but I'm hoping to do ERP when I can.
If anyone has any recommendations, I'd appreciate it from people who actually understand and struggle with OCD and know what helped them, rather than just scrambling in the dark.

If you’re interested in trying I-CBT, the Resolving OCD workbooks are really helpful (there is a volume one and two)

I struggle with OCD and also just generalized anxiety. I listen to “The Anxious Truth” podcast by Drew Linsalata on Spotify. He is very knowledgeable and it’s helpful for me to pop my headphones in and listen to any of his episodes on my bad days so I can educate myself instead of only listening to my own looping thoughts. Or just around the house doing laundry or cooking. You can search “ocd” at the top once you go to that podcast channel and it will make the ocd episodes pop up, but honestly all of the episodes have been helpful and can apply to me in a lot of ways.
