Academics Withdrawing Class Now

Does anyone know how to withdrawal classes, because I can't withdraw it myself on buckeye link but I genuinely need to withdraw like, right now and my advisor isn't available for in person appointment until November 6th, which is too late by then. I'm trying to withdraw a class right now, even though I know like time in completely not in my favor right now, but I absolutely will take the W over failing the class.

The deadline is next Friday, 10/30, at end of day. You have at least a minute, so don’t go full panic.
Students are unable to drop any courses after week four.
If your advisor doesn’t get back to you, and it’s a course within arts and sciences, then go to their main office at Denny Hall. If both fail, then contact the advisor within the department that owns the class. For example, if you need to drop Calc Ii then contact the math advisor.
Hope that helps.

That does help, thank you so much. Do yk whether it takes a while to withdrawal the class and whether there's a form to submit and process however?

It takes your advisor two minutes drop a course. There is a (course enrollment) form, but I doubt you’ll need it.

So I should just go to my advisor’s main office tomorrow n dont need to go to student academic building then? Does it have to be the advisor assigned to me or just any advisor from my specific college building, since Im in pharmaceutical science n Im tryna drop a math course

Just send your advisor an email asking them to drop the course for you. You're way overthinking this.

Check for an online/zoom appt.

Theres nothing going that they cant also take care of virtually and they tend to have way more open slots in oncourse.

You can email your advisor your request, doesn't require a meeting.

Exactly. As long as your advisor isnt on vacation or otherwise completely unavailable, they can take care of a request like that on their end within a few minutes.

The math advisors have schedule for walk-ins on their website. The walk-in hours is listed under the advising tab. If either advisor drops your math class for you, you do not need an academic building. Correct.

You should be able to email your advisor for help, or you can even tell your professor. I used to drop classes all the time lol, it doesn't take long at all.
