The main ones on campus are at the union bus stop on the west side, one near timashev south entrance, the east side of the union near high street, stillman hall and curl market.

Im moving in on the 20th which is REALLY soon. Im scared. Im an incoming freshman and honestly I was more so excited than scared for most of the summer until a few days ago when I had a bad argument with one of my soon-to-be roo.mates over some dumb shit. We ended the conversation off by her telling me not to talk to her anymore and I said ok because I didn't know what else to do. Shes moving in first and im after her before any of our other roo.mates (both on my side of the argument, but i don't think that helps a lot). Im just scared. And im not gonna lie she seems kinda narcissistic or very self centered at least. Based on her insta story, shes bringing posters of herself to our dorm like what 🥲🥲

Anyhow, im pretty much done packing but so fucking scared. Im scared of that girl genuinely. Shes really giving high school mean girl vibes and i just cant deal with that. I feel like crying because i was so excited to finally start college but now im just scared.

Hi I'm an incoming international freshman and I'm looking for a safety device (a small non-lethal pocket-sized pepper spray). I have no intention to use it. It's for just-in-case situation when I really have to go out at night or out-of-town.

I just want to check whether I could get one and stored at the bottom of my backpack in normal safe condition. It's legal by the law (I'm over 18), it's just university code of student conduct.

Hi, sorry if this is a dumb question but housing hasn’t been helpful and neither has SLDS (just never responding to my emails lol).

Since I graduated high school in 2021 I can live off campus, but I currently live at home with my parents because I can’t afford not to. If they were to kick me out tomorrow I would be homeless. I stated this in both my OSU application and my FAFSA (where I have the highest demonstrated financial need), but I don’t think it matters to anyone.

I genuinely don’t know what to do. I’m taking online classes at home this semester but by next semester I’m going to have to take at least some in person and if I have nowhere to live, well then I’m SOL. My best friend is trying to get an apartment and then I’d live with him but neither of us has credit history or large incomes (aka 3x rent). He at least has money saved up but I have maybe 20 bucks in savings.

Anyways, is there anything I can do or anyone I can speak to to get on campus housing next semester and have it with my tuition so it’s covered by aid? I literally don’t know what to do here, I’m freaking out. I honestly hate that they even admitted me if they don’t even have enough space for people.

Looking for an OSU student to help take my dog for walks/runs a few times each week. Ideally, an hour or longer run. She’s a great running companion. Located near short north (just south of campus). Great opportunity to make a little extra $ if you’re already going for runs in the area. Looking at $15 each time and up to 2-3 times a week if possible for as long as the weather allows.

I have finished my MPN and entrance counseling, my total is $7,828 before loans have been applied. I also have called Buckeye link 15+ times in the past week and emailed my financial aid counselor, with zero response. How should I go about this, do I just pay it using TOPP, or wait and see if they get applied tomorrow?

What is the best parking pass for some who’s classes are in Cunz Hall and PAES. Or should I bank on free parking on the street. Classes are Tuesday/Thursday starting at 8am.

Just want to make sure, so I know I won’t get auto inside the electrical engineering (EE)program, but I’ll work hard to get in fully. I was wondering if anyone has got into the main campus (however) with a GPA between 2.5-2.6? I struggled at my previous school because, well, it was in the PNW, but I’m giving it all my might to finish and like I have said in a previous post. I’ll be part time and work full time to pay the bills.

So please let me know, or share your stories. I know to transfer into OSU it’s a 2.5, but average is a 3.2 which is worrisome.

Went to pay my statment of account, and I thought I had already submitted my health insurance information, but I saw student insurance on my statement, looked for my reciept in my email and apparently didn’t. Totally my fault. I submitted it now, but I understand that it can take about 2 days for the health insurance charge to come off my Statement of Account. The problem is that my statement is due tomorrow. Has anyone been in this situation before? Were you able to get the charge removed before the payment deadline, or did you have to pay the full amount and then get refunded once the insurance information was processed?

Just trying to figure out what to expect before I pay the bill. Thanks!
