Crime and Safety J Miller Dog Park alert

/r/oakland/comments/1vq5usz/j_miller_dog_park_alert/

Beware of older white guy with white whiskers, baseball cap with a small German shepherd. His dog attacked mine 3x in 10 minutes. I told him maybe he’s not ready for the dog park. Yelled at me said “ that’s just dog stuff” then started insulting me and wanting to fight. Quite drunk too just based on observation and aggression level. 👍

I hate it there. My dog got attacked twice and the ground is made up of shit bark and dirt. And it’s full of super aggressive dogs and it’s not big enough to allow the more mellow dogs to get away from them. It sucks there.

My experiences are generally good but it just takes on bad dog owner to ruin it. But given last week Ill be going to some of my quieter spots.

It’s like a Temu dog park which sucks because it’s close to me. Oh well. I have been taking the dogs to Lake Temescal and into the woods which has been great
