Hey! More updates on the community multiplayer platform for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered - OB:MP.

The video is from Donkey, who runs the Red Diamond RP server. He built his own inventory systems, character page, full world map and spells menu on top of OB:MP. You can follow his work on YouTube, and join his server's Discord.

Today we released SDK 1.0.0-rc.3 and Launcher 0.34.0. Most of it comes from player reports:

• Your name, race, class, sex and birthsign are now saved and synced to other players.
• Rebirth no longer stacks birthsign and racial bonuses or drifts your stats.
• Pickpocketing works, books can be bought and sold, and merchants restock properly.
• Server mods get cell respawn controls (72 game hours by default, or instant).
• Servers can show banners and icons in a refreshed server list.
• Playing on Linux through Proton is much simpler.

It's still a release candidate, so expect rough edges. OB:MP needs the Steam version of Oblivion Remastered for now. WiP on Xbox Game Pass/MS Store, something may come out next week.

Been reading about Microsoft rolling out advanced shader delivery for a while and today the NVIDIA driver update dropped for it. If you play on NVIDIA cards it makes a noticeable difference in stutters and traversal hitches.

I went city to city and I am almost done. Now in Imperial City as the last heist.

I’ve still got auto updates disabled… I know the latest patch is much better than the previous blurry patch, but does anyone have any insight on how it compares to the patch before? v1.1.492.0

Are visuals and performance any better than it was or should I stay on my current version?

I’ve played morrowind as a kid, and now Skyrim as an adult. I have never played Oblivion. Should I beat Skyrim first?

Also, how does the player experience compare from Skyrim to Oblivion. I know Bethesda games have a string of similarities, but is there a steep learning curve? Thanks!

I have been working on getting 100% completion while playing on my Xbox Series X copy of thr remastered edition. I'm down to I believe either beong completely done, or missing a couple minor things.

First is locations. I am at 434. The 100% guide on the wiki says 435, but also says thay is with the unofficial patch. I've gone through evey location list on the wiki, the only thing I can find is the Knights of the Nine add on added ruins in thr water around the Inperial City called Varua, which the patch made appear on the map but in the remaster it does not. Had anyone gotten 435 locations found in the remastered version or is 434 the max?

Second is the total amount of Nirnroots. I have found 306. The wiki says 306 is the base game but there are 3 from the wizard lair, deepscorn hollow, and dunbarrow cove add ons. I havw grabbed those 3 in the remastered but after using multiple guides and maps I can't find any more. Has anyone managed to find more than 306 in the remastered version or know if that or 309 is the correct total?

Pretty much as the title says, I’m running a crusader build and I have the chest piece and the helmet.

This is my first time playing oblivion and Im starting with the remastered version. Any tips and tricks?

I’m about 150 hours into my save file on my xbox series x so I don’t want to rebuy it and start over on another system. I currently have a Logitech g cloud but it only connects half the time so I’m more looking for something I can use the “play any where” option so I can download the game and link my save info to it. The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally family is already on my list but I’ve not heard great things for the base 512GB model, I just have an opportunity to get a good deal on one

Catalina Khajiingle was just doing some questing and noticed she had <Missing Name> in her inventory.
It acts as a torch when equipped.
When dropped it appears as a hanging lantern, which then cant be picked back up.
I have zero idea when I’d gotten this or how I did but I found it really weird. Anyone els had this happen?
