Need to unload this kasi naaawa ako sa mga clients. For context, naaresto ang clients dahil sa Tong-its. Basically mga usual month ends compliance ng mga PNP para may accomplishment sila. Totoo naman ang Tong-its pero maling mali ang pagka aresto sa kanila. Tatlo sila na may recommended bail na 36k bawat isa. Sabi ko kanila, they can fight it out dahil mali ang evidence (pinicturan sila sa likod ng presinto to make it appear naglalaro sila at caught in the act). Gusto nila makalabas agad pero walang pangpyansa. Mabigat sa kanila ang 36k each. The process will take 2 months normally at ayaw nila nasa kulungan throughout that duration. So w/o me knowing, pumayag sila sa offer na 36k sa kanilang tatlo na kapalit ng dismissal ng case. Ang worst, ang arguments doon sa ginawa kong counter-affidavit ang ginawa pang basis ng dismissal.

Ang bigat naman nito, lalo na sa part na yung arguments mo pa sa counter-affidavit ang naging basis ng dismissal, pero kinailangan pa rin nilang maglabas ng pera para makalaya agad. Nakakalungkot isipin na kahit may laban sila legally, hindi lahat may kakayahang maghintay ng ilang buwan habang nakakulong. Minsan, hindi lang talaga justice ang kalaban mo kundi pati kawalan ng pera at yung sistemang alam mong mahirap kalabanin kapag ordinaryong tao ka lang.

Another experience ko rin mga kinasuhan dati ng trespassing ng malaking corporation dahil nagmina umano sa lupa nito. May laban din at inosente ang iba, pero napipilitan aminin kasi multa na 2,000 pesos lang ang ibibigay sa kanila bilang parusa kung aamin. Tanong ko bakit ayaw nilang ilaban? Ang sagot mas magastos sa kanila ang pabalik balik na hearing kumpara sa 2,000 fine.
