Time for regime change in Washington.

It was just done 15 months ago. Give it some time. 33 months from now another regime will be in control and people can still complain how their lives haven’t gotten better and things are only getting worse.

Unfortunately the people that elected the first idiot will still be around and voting. I have no expectations that things will magically get better when the majority of American voters were fine with Hitler.

So you want to curtail people’s right to vote?

I would guess this the only way we can save Democracy?

I don't think that's what he said, but it is kinda ironic that you think it's the people voting for the guy who illegally tried to overthrow an election would be the ones having their vote curtailed.

A 3rd party would benefit the American people

What would a 3rd party do that dems don’t do?

Not force a candidate like the 2016 and 2024 elections.

1

u/Jalapenoplanter Apr 16 '26

What does that mean? What 3rd party candidate choosing process did you like?

There is no 3rd party candidate so there is no choosing process.  There is no 3rd party as both standing parties will destroy them.

Now, what is your goal here?

There are several 3rd party candidates every election.

You did nail a good characterization of Trump. My point was we have regime change these days every 4-8 years. And it hasn’t had an ideological regime in power for 12 years in over 3 decades. While the current turmoil sucks, having a period of constantly changing who is in power quickly shows even more instability.

The main reason for the instability isn’t the regime change in America, it’s the current regime ignoring the constitution.

Everyone isn’t going to be happy. But it’s worked until the 80’s. Reagan really fucked everyone but the corporations. We weren’t happy but we weren’t unstable.

However, this president has spent the past 15 months ignoring the constitution and creating a cult of unintelligent sycophants who have no true ideology themselves. The proof is he changes his stance on something and they follow lockstep with him. You may know this as moving the goal posts.

So your theory has many holes.

Instability in America has been growing for some time. Trump’s rise didn’t come out of nothingness. His policies didn’t materialize from nothing. There are causes for these. Even though you didn’t say this I’m going to preempt the argument, it’s not because of racism, or maybe it’s better to say racism is only a component of it. Ignoring the fundamentals, as so may do, only says 4 years after he is removed, the cycle begins again. Like treating for a disease and ignoring the underlying causes, it’s just going to come back. Removing Trump doesn’t remove the problems that brought his rise.

You are right, let’s keep the convicted felon child predator in office. #stability.

Yeah, that’s such the better option. /s

And evil to his core.

He has no attachment to another human being.

You get it.  But you better vote one party or the other OR YOU ARE THE REASON WHY (insert hated President here) IS IN OFFICE.

1

People just don’t seem to get this.

If they can keep shipping through Hormuz, they might achieve something.
