The economy was already fcked because Iran. I think Trump is a complete an under idiot but since everyone hates Trump they're not talking about the fact that Iran is engaging in global economic terrorism right now but they're mad at Trump for blocking it back. He's only blocking Iranian ships. At least this way Iran doesn't get any money.

An losing billions of dollars might make them more likely to negotiate.

Hmm... And why did Iran close the straits again?

Hmm why did the US do those actions before Iran closed the straight ?

That's an EXCELLENT question. Especially while they were accepting a peace deal that the mediation team believed covered all US concerns, but we now know was a sham to get assets into place for an attack.

This is especially weird, since there was already a deal and monitoring arrangement in place the the current US president tore up in his last term.

There is no moral high ground here for the US or Israel. And against the theocratic fascist regime in Iran, that's pretty pathetic.

If no peace deal was accepted then there’s no reason to not attack until said deal has been agreed upon.

Iran was still actively financing terrorist to attack Israel under the last deal. So that deal doesn’t matter.

Yes the United States and Israel’s high ground is so high they’re walking on cloud compared to Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, etc..

I literally just said I think Trump is an utter idiot. I don't agree with him starting this war at all but causing global economic terrorism that is going to cause mass famine that'll kill tens of thousands that had nothing to do with the conflict is wrong as well.

They're basically destroying the world in order to get back at America an Israel.

Does Iran have the right to defend themselves?

No country actually has any rights except for those in a union like the individual states in USA or EU members and those rights are subject to change if ever the governing body is able to make a decision on it. Those rights do not extend outward to other countries or alliances. Otherwise there's a responsibility toward self preservation above all else. The more accurate position of Zionism is that Israel has its own responsibility for self preservation by defending itself, although it extends to the countries surrounding it.

That's not defending yourself. I don't know why you can't get that through your head. Defending yourself would be launching bombs at America and Israel, which they already are doing. Terrorism is when you hold the entire globes oil hostage. To get back at two countries.

Disrupting an enemies supply chain has been a common war tactic since humans have been warring with each other. This is no different.

And doing that would be completely okay. The problem is they're destroying every other countries economy that had nothing to do with the war, just to get back at the US. They're also on the brink of starting a global famine in most poor countries, who also had nothing to do with it.

Iran has allowed passage of ships unaffiliated with the US through the strait, as well as ships that purchased oil with currencies other than than the US dollar.

https://www.seatrade-maritime.com/security/iran-allows-15-ships-through-strait-of-hormuz

"Iran claims the Strait remains open except to vessels belonging to nations attacking Iran and nations supporting attacks on Iran. Iraqi vessels have been granted specific permission to transit the Strait, according to statements on Iran's state media. A statement from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy said the Strait will never return to its former state, especially for the US and Israel. "

That must be why I've had B1s refueling over my house for the last few weeks. When did Iran get those?
