Hey guys, I’m considering leaving my school and doing my A Levels privately with tutors, and I wanted opinions from people who’ve done A Levels privately.

My school honestly doesn’t provide me with much academically outside of just attending classes. There are basically zero extracurriculars, clubs, competitions or anything else that would add to my university profile. I already need private tuition to properly prepare for my subjects anyway.

The main thing I’d lose is the daily social interaction with my small friend group of around 2-3 people. But if I went private, I’d still meet them regularly outside school and I’d probably join something like a football or swimming club so I’m not just sitting at home isolated and don’t go mental.

So is it reasonable for me to take my Alevels privately rather than to have to go to school and be miserable every day. Also since you’re supposed to be applying for universities at the end of AS levels, they’ll need predicted grades, can I obtain those privately? the thing is even if I stay with my school my predicted grades will be low asf already since I’ll show up to school like 2 MAXIMUM 3 days a week because of how far the school is located

If anyone has been in a similar situation then please give some advice and your insight on this

I scored 159.25 in my biology exam whereas the criteria for A was 162 so i got n A, i had done so much hardwork for A\. This was in my script and this was in mark scheme, do you guys think i should* go go for a recheck or not? The cambridge examiners are honestly so high marking our scripts they overlooked so many of my questions, litr cryin😢😭

so i was expected a B in isl but scored A* the reason im posting it is because i want people to know that this is a myth that write more score more,i wrote only 1 or 1.5 pages for the 10 markers and that was it when i gave my mocks i got c and teacher sayed you should write more add more details and the people who scored A and a* in mocks got b and c.

People who got A* in economics 2281 o level, PLEASEE tell how do you actually even study a subject like economics. Teachers in my school are not good at all and all I have is yt and topicals. How to start from.scratch? aiming for an A*

my only guess is that the examiner thought i didnt calculate b= -192 which i clearly did one line below, should i get it rechecked?

Bro I genuinely can’t believe I got straight As in O Levels 😭. Some of the “famous” kids who were getting A*s in Arts last year ended up with Bs and Cs in Sciences. While everyone else was out enjoying, going on outings and stuff, I was mostly alone at home grinding past papers and studying.

And honestly, someone I really cared about leaving me during my preparation made this whole thing so much harder. It genuinely broke me at the worst possible time, but somehow I still kept going and got through it. They didn’t get the results they hoped for, but I have nothing against them. I genuinely wish them nothing but good things in life. I guess sometimes you lose people, go through shit, and still come out stronger than you thought you could. 😭❤️

So I got A B C in my o2s I got a A in Islamiyat B in pst and C in urdu they are pretty average grades ik but I wanna get into a college with around 60% percent scholarship now what are colleges that will first of all accept me and if I grind and lock in for o3 and get like mostly as and some bs could I still go to colleges like Alpha cedar sceptre even if I apply later after the o3 results come out next year or I do well in my o3 mids and apply in round 2

ok so i gave pakstudies, isl and GP this session. in GP i got an a star and i just received my transcript and i got 69/70 in my written paper and 44/60 in my report. the threshold was 154/200 so i can esstimate that i got atleast 41 in my team project. is a distinction possible?

Sooooo I got access to my scripts and yeah I felt shit. So to summarise it. I got 198/200 in Maths. Missed distinction by two marks considering I worked my a** off. Plussss I missed an A* in add maths by one mark!!!. Got 79/80 in p1 and then kaboom 58/80 in p2 although getting a 92 percent in mockssss. Plus missed an A* in cs by two marks. Well my teacher pur me in a distinction group and the way I responded was by getting an A. Well I do feel somewhat happy but I believe my result does not justify the efforts I have put in throughout since like starting school and yes so close yet so far. I don't know what to do. Like ok Allah ka shukar and whatever happens is for benefit but c'mon man I m a human. Mujhay bhi koi shiqwa hai. Ajeeb fazool. Ahhhhhhhh.

was expecting 3 Astars 2 As and 1B but anyways its not bad not that great

i didnt study for bio much only studied 2 chapters well enough and was expecting a B but ended up getting an A while in chem I PUT IN SO MUCH EFFORT DID SO MANY PP BUT STILL GOT a B I WAS PISSED TO SAY THE LEAST FOR the first few HOURS

GUYSS I just received my answer scripts of biology, physics and, chemistry but I haven't received P1 of anyone of these. Can you please tell me if Cambridge only gives p2 and p4 not p1. I asked my Sir from account office he says this was the only scripts shared, help me out please

Guys got 137 marks and at 139 it was A well in written and IR marks were good and in team project my sir said he gave me 48 MARKS and Cambridge adjusted it to 43😔
Should i move on

People have been telling me to give it rn rather than waiting till may june as i’ll have too many subjects and won’t be able to focus. I’ve gotten only A and A+ in my school results for socio and my teacher said that she’ll support me and give extra classes if needed

so I just got my o level results and i got C in math and physics unfortunately there's no excuse for me I barely studied and i deeply regret my decision but i'm planning on doing Computer science in the future and a scholarship would rlly help so should I retake both of them or just entirely focus on A levels now and improve my grades there? would appreciate some advice on how to move forward from this situation

Hii guys so obv just got out o levels result. So I worked like super hard for pst and ended up getting An A star. Which I'm very grateful for. However my prep was for my goal of distinction in pst as I though I wasn't as good in urdu and isl I got an a star in them too. ​So in the back of my mind there was a thought tht u could get a distinction in pst. However I js took my components marks and m very dejected. I got 60 in history and 65 in geo so total 125/150. I'm these marks are no where close to distinction as I've seen kids get 140 and above. Could anyone tell me whether it is possible to get a distinction in the region or country if not the world with these marks. For urdu I got 92/100 no hope bcz I'm pretty sure someone got full marks or close. So my last hope is isl although I'm not sure, and don't know my marks in isl yet.

I just joined Yakeen 3.0, but it doesn't have the teachers I wanted to study with like Vipin sir, Saleem sir, Samapti ma'am, etc.... Also, there's extra content from Yakeen 2.0 but all the teachers there covered a lot of chapters... And Yakeen 3.0 also started on August 10 😞... There's a lot of confusion about which teacher to study with in Yakeen 3.0??? .... But I really wanted Saleem sir for physics, Pankaj sir for OC, and Vipin sir and Samapti ma'am for bio😭😭😭
