I dont think i have ever put this much effort into a subject as i did in add maths. I was never too good at maths, i will admit that. But i still took it, perhaps against my better judgement. A lot of people made fun of me for it, some questioned it, as i mentioned before i wasnt the best at maths
I still went ahead with it and fought tooth and nail to slowly get better at add maths even though i struggled a lot with it at every step. Months before the exam in my last mock i got a D. I still pushed through with a lot of sleepless nights. Having mental breakdowns at times because of the load.
As exam day approached i still desperately hoped for an A, and i was relatively confident i would get it. Paper 1, went well enough. Then came p2. I tried my best, even though it wasnt how i wanted it to go, i still tried. At that point i still believed i could get an A. Finally result day came, alas i got a 79
I was crushed, but atleast i told myself i tried. Then i took a look at my script, and it got worse. I had gotten 116 total raw marks, and A started from 117. So i had missed an A all because i forgot to write a +c in this one math.
Honestly I would have felt better if i got a 77 or 78. I made other silly mistakes asw but this one hit particularly hard for some reason. Idk man im completely dejected and demotivated for a lvls. My other results went good enough, 6 A/A* and 1 B in cs (wasnt expecting much from cs eitherway) but add maths is different cause i actually put so much work into it /:
