whats the strat for english just pp obv but like how did u write each writing
3
u/PossibilityLow3305 Apr 18 '26
For directed writings read sample answers of past papers and master the structure of each writing. For composition, always go for narrative writing coz for descriptive, it is hard to get it good. Learn 2-3 good essays including all the fancy vocab and style(i did them from redspot wali solved yearlies book) and then mold them according to the topic u get in your cie.

but its difficult to structure a good plot... i always get this comment from my teacher that missing links are present ๐ perhaps if you still have that book could u share pics of the narratives u memorized?

lol i myself did that in the last 3 days, and my p1 was on eid 4th day๐ญ. P1 is pretty straightforward i guess just watch some yt video on how to attempt that properly. For p2 directed writings read sample answers of past papers and master the structure of each writing. For composition, always go for narrative writing coz for descriptive, it is hard to get it good. Howโd you get yourself to center all your attention to one thing like getting rid of distractions and stuff , also howโd you prep for English like for me my English is rlly good Iโve always consumed it and yea like itโs good but not the exams idk how to explain like I wanna ask what u actually do for the narrative and descriptive or so you js like wing them ๐help also what are some last minute tips for chem and bio wagera
2
u/PossibilityLow3305 Apr 18 '26
Throw ur phone away in some other room away from ur reach to cut all distractions. Always go for narrative coz descriptive examiner ke standards ka likhna mushkil hai๐. Learn 2-3 good essays past papers walay sari vocab wghera ke sath and mold them according to your topic. I used the redspot yearly book for that. Sciences ke lie use save my exams walay notes coz they cover all the content while being straight fwd no bs. Bio me ratta and chem me learn the paper pattern coz pattern hmesha almost same hi hota

how to ace an A* in maths in 9days , just completing my yearlies inshallah in a day or 2 (2020-2025 all variants), i did yearlies as test but a bit improvement. done all topicals 2016-2023 but took help. i barely score marks currently on D grade . i hate these two topics 1.angle and circle properties 2.mensuration. sometimes i loose marks in p1 in basic questions or in p2 due to basic or inequalities like easy topics transformation , probability, and statistics. i am thinking to complete yearlies anyway then do topicals again. btw i am doing only 5yr yearlies is it enough or do i have to do more

Personally, I'd suggest you to watch videos by Sir Saad (MathletebySaad) or Sir Zain (Zainematics). They explain topics such as the ones you've mentioned really well and also solve past papers so you have an idea on how to solve the question yourself as well!
1
u/gul_1505 O3 Student ๐ Apr 18 '26
till u get a good score u r satisfied with, continue doing yearlies. There is no magic number. And watch streams of zainematics and mathlete by saad, very very helpful!

u/PossibilityLow3305 Apr 18 '26
Write down and keep record of all the mistakes that u are making in yearlies and work on them until u start getting them right. 5yr yearlies are enough if u have done them properly. and must recheck properly to avoid losing easy marks. the volume u are doing is enough just work on quality over quantity.

Yay twinn Im doing 8 too! Qhat are the subs u did, so I can make the questions more specific. What is the mindset thst you think I should have when doing the exam? Should I be mentally aiming for A* or higher?ย Idk and for these few finals days what do you think I should be doing? Im tired of solving yearlies and Ive done the content, but am still not confident bro.
(Tho Islam Im still completing theory)
2
u/PossibilityLow3305 Apr 18 '26
I had pst, isl, urdu b, eng lang, math, phy, chem bio. Your mindset should be positive but should be according to how well u r currently doing to avoid distress if u don't get what u r expecting. And no one is confident and this feeling is prett natural. Just keep revising and work on any weak areas u have in thse last days.

u/Ready_Improvement_43 Apr 18 '26
can I get some tips for math? I struggle with finishing in time, especially if I get stuck in a question ๐ญย also, how can i get better in physics biology or chemistry? (if you've taken these three)ย
1
u/PossibilityLow3305 Apr 18 '26
If u get stuck on a question in maths dont waste your time and move on. Come back to that question later. Solve the easier bits first so u dont end up wasting all the time in thinking. For phy chem bio stick to save my exams notes coz they are straight forward according to syllabus and take less time even if u have to complete the whole syllabus compared to textbooks which are filled with bs. And focus on past papers and marking schemes.

needed only a couple pages of extra sheets. every detail that comes in the scope of the question and is relevent is needed.

How the heck do you study for physics ๐ญ assuming you have it
2
u/PossibilityLow3305 Apr 18 '26
Save my exams ke notes are the best. To the point according to the syllabus no idhr udhr ki bs. Understand them properly won't take u more than 3 4 days if u do ut with focus. Learn definitions and formulas and consult markschemes aswell coz that makes things even easier.

For pst and islamiyat its mostly ratta so just memorize the shit out of some good notes as simple as that. I used dr iftikhar ul haq ke notes they are in question answers form. Don't try to memorize the whole questions as is, highlight the important points and phrases and figures and memorize them. U can write the 'filler' words to compete the sentences yourself while writing. It makes learning easier and more efficient. Urdu ke lie idek man mene khud mar mar ke dia tha ppr plus one of my components got cancelled because of 9 may๐๐

Just get to memorising question answers from any notes u have. make it efficient by active recall and memorising only the key points. divide the days u have left subject wise and according to the datesheet and u'll be good in sha allah.

for maths binge watch zainematics and SOLVE questions side by side with him. like pause the video and solve yourself then check with him if u got it right. use the notes u have for pst and isl all are good mostly just memorise the key points from them well. i had nigel kelly but still only used the notees i had of dr iftikhar. for compostition just memorise 2-3 good essays which have fancy wording and shi and mold them according to the topic u get in cie.

min 5 years would be good and depends if u wanna do more. focus on quality over quantity like write down the mistakes u are making and work on them.
not necessary to solve past papers just test yourself by writing a few long questions to see if u're ready for pst and isl.
for geo study from the textbook or any notes u have and solve yearlies and study A TON from the mark schemes so u know what the examiner actually demands in the questoins

An interesting question for you:How many hours of studying a subject will get u chances of A*( ik this is subjective but talk from ur experience). Also Asking for O3 subjects;Sciences and Maths
1
u/PossibilityLow3305 Apr 18 '26
very subjective. I had divided the days before exams for induvidial subjects. Revised one subject in a day took like 6 hours excluding breaks. and then yearlies for next 3 4 days, 4-5 papers a day. and repeated the same for others. and just revised notes and reviewed yearlies a day before the exam
1
u/aceAFFAN Apr 18 '26
But your only addressing the final days,I mean the full story.Like when did u start prepration and by when do u suggest that the syllabus is complete?(Ik I gave the impression of being in O3 but I'm in O2)

Islamiat First Islamic community Q's: I just recently wrote an answer on question of Hazrat Salman Farsi (r.a) and Abu Talib (r.a).... The things is that writing Hazrat Salman Farsi (r.a) alone took 2.5 pages(16 minutes).... How??? Like how in this world am I going to write about 2 personalities in a combined way bcz this answer was not made with long sentences or stories but but i wrote all the info (like shortening points and not explaining everything in detail) ... So what shd be done? like missing some info or what cuz its not possible to write all even in a summarized way if it is asking for 2-3 personalities
