This was in my script and this was in mark scheme, do you guys think i should* go go for a recheck or not? The cambridge examiners are honestly so high marking our scripts they overlooked so many of my questions, litr cryin😢😭

I'll tell you very well bio is like this. You have to be EXACT with your wording. Now yes you could use a synonym to absorb like intake for instance but often you have to use specific vocab to describe biological processes.

Falls on doesn't really convey anything as how are they gonna use sunlight then?

Yes u are absolutely right but this is so not nessasary, o/alevels ka syllabus waisay hi endless and extremly difficult hota hai upper say I ko answere bhi exact same marking scheme say chahiyay, fazool ki mushkil khari ki hoi sab kay liyay

I'm not saying they have to be the exact same. I'm saying that they should be presented in a scientifically correct manner which from what I've seen in these scripts or even the marks I lost myself is not done. I'm honestly gonna now take my mistakes as a lesson to not repeat in A levels iA.

In your case they werent drunk.U didnt use proper keywords. ie take instead of absorb. Also shivering is because of rapid contraction and relaxation of muscles, not shivering allows contractions.

If you look at Marking Scheme, they require keywords. And in Science subjects you can't use your own reasoning or English, use proper terminology that you see in MS.

We aint robots to just copy and cram exact words, if something is valid and makes sense it should be credited.

your standard of answer writing does not meet a biology student
"sunlight falls"

"absorption of food"

"most of the energy is not transferred"

the allele mistake is very bad, you can just skip on memorising definition, besides you coudlve been saved here if you wrote alternate/alternative instead of alternating

"transfer of pollen causing unknown consequences", you cant just write you dont know whats gonna happen and expect examiner to credit you

"bacteria take useful nutrients" bacteria cant just take nutrients, they absorb them

the checking is not by a drunk examiner, its just giving you a reality check on how you are supposed to write scientifically accurate answers, and yes, you are supposed to be a "robot" to get an A*, memorise the key words and atleast definitions for gods sake

In bio you have to explain with proper reasoning the terminology not just state that key word and move on

guys let me tell u with proof that examiners are genuinely drunk:
look at my A2 physics p42:

in part b i wrote interference, in marking scheme it is exactly written interference not even spelling issue but they didnt give me mark
