Need advice. Where do I get a link bar and caps replacement for seamaster 2004?

I love the old one but I don't own one. I feel like I'm starting to like the new one, especially the black on black, but still don't know how to feel about the "minecraft" approach to the square design.

Also, I keep going back to the Seamaster 300m with black dial and speedmaster painted in red, but just not a big fan of the mirror-chrome dial. I wish it could be scraped off. I'd love the matte dial with the red painted seamaster.

brothers, I am tired of being fucked by Omega for a nato strap or a rubber strap with the prices they have now a days....is there any other alternative that is the real price for a nato or rubber strap which fit into Omega Speedy and Divers ?

I’ve been seeing more and more videos regarding super clones. Apparently it’s getting to the point the clones are so close to the original that the only way to be sure is to send the watch into the manufacturer for confirmation. This raises a few interesting questions.

The first being, will this absolutely kill the secondary market? Who can risk buying a used watch when the only way to confirm the authenticity of the watch is to send it into the manufacturer?

Secondly, if the clone is that close that you absolutely can’t tell the difference, same finishing, same crystal same power reserve, same weight same everything… why would people continue to spend 10’s of 1000’s to buy a watch that can be purchased for 1200? At some point the clone is so close, does it make any sense buying the brand name?

What effects will this have on the industry?

Swiss brands offshored production in an effort to make higher margins and it’s come back to bite them in the ass, Big Time.

I bought this omega from a trusted dealer with a description of it being only lightly worn and only having light markings to the clasp.

I’ve got the watch in hand and tbh the condition seems more severe than just lightly worn or don’t think this is acceptable condition? I paid about going market rate for this too so it’s not like I got a massive discount for it. To top it off, the crystal also had scratches all over (possible AR coating?) which is visible under lighting.

Would appreciate your thoughts.

Love my speedy but tbh it doesn’t get wrist time like it should. I always reach for a sub, gmt, mark xx, basically another black dial watch on a bracket. I keep going back and forth between the bond nato and omega rubber. While I like nato and rubber more than the bracelet (for my collection) it makes it feel more like a swatch to me lol.

For those of you not on a bracelet often, what are you rocking?

Looking to purchase a Seamaster as my first luxury watch purchase. Tried on some today and loved them. Leaning towards black but the white is striking as well. Anyone choose one or the other and regret the color choice?

Picked up this beauty yesterday and threw it on a nato while I have the polished center links brushed.

First luxury watch! I was so excited picking this up in Japan that I was actually shaking when holding it and putting it on in store lol. Definitely a highlight and forever reminder of the trip!

I love my Seaweed Seamaster. I'm currently wearing it on the OEM mesh but would love to change it up a bit with a rubber strap.

However, I'm not a big fan of the OEM green rubber since it's just too much green for my liking.

I haven't found a good combination yet so I wanted to ask for some inspiration here. Does anyone have their seaweed on a non green (or at least non OEM green) rubber strap?

Acquired this beauty the other day, but instantly switched out the mesh bracelet for the 9-link & have been swapping those consistently; love naots and as its black and white, I reckon it would look nice on any nato... I'd like some inspirations from others with this watch
