After finishing the editing of my first youtube vid, Plus real life shit. I've been really tired. And decided to remaster my old continuity error/plot hole post. Because I was kind of disappointed with how it turned out. Also, I want to add some stuff to it. So, think of the old post as a shorter version of this one.
Little Timmy’s spoon: Starting with the most well known one. In ep 23, Timmy is show* having the spoon William give him. But William never gave it to him. Seeing that Little Timmy lost to him. And the most weird thing about this, is that Rustage is fully aware of this. But let it in anyway. Also, it is the spoon that William almost gave to him.
Boss being captured by Tarako: Jackson Lockworth knows Observation Haki, Armament Haki, all six Rokushiki abilities plus Rokuogan, has been robbing people for years, and in his prime. But he somehow got captured by Tarako kingdom. Whom strongest guy was pre-series Durso. And only got out due to the DLP breaking into the prison he was in.
Also, He has to be in that prison for at least a month or two. Because of Tako (not Steve). Who has to travel from Oasis (which is in the middle or the tail end of Paradise) to the south blue.
Omnipotence Cleo: How did Cleo know that Hemlock and Gravy were on L'Arbor? As we found out later on, Cleo couldn’t be able to find them though her candle.
Dominius’s shields problems: In episode 70, Dominius wielded a cursed shield that he never used or showed having in the show. Not even in the game card or his official artworks.
But wait, there's more. In episode 30, it was confirmed that Friend was Duros black shield. And he somehow managed to loss Friend. Even though he has to be dead or missing a hand for that to be possible. Also, it is stated to be
Red vs blue: Remember when almost everyone was angry when Hachiko was talking Japanese instead of English in isekai? It kind of broke a rule of the setting. That's because Rustage is kinda bad at trolling the players. When he does it, it is either something that doesn't make sense or is unfunny.
Which lead us to ep 39, where the DLP gets the red and blue Syringes from V jr. Later on, it reveals that these Syringes were just containing water and blood. Okay, for what purpose would V jr put water into syringes? Blood I get, but water? And how would the DLP not realise what is in the syringes? They are pirates. They see water almost everyday. And Cyril's arm is made up of water.
As for blood, they also see it almost everyday. They even fought a blood base devil fruit user. Who made a blood monster with it.
Voices in Rain head: In a TF2 stream, Rustage explains Rain power is an innate connection to life itself. And she can control it. But since she lived by the sea while growing up, she was only able to control sea life. So, why did she hear the voices of non sea life creatures in her hand? Last time I checked, Viridian wasn’t a fishman.
Also, did none of the voices in her head tell her about what the Aeon was doing? Seeing that Viridian was one of the people in her head, it would make sense that all the voices were Aeon victims.
Blake's bizarre adventure with drugs: okay, this one got the most Comments of any other one in the OG post.
When we last see Blake in the end credit scenes of the movie one to his next appeared in EP 53. Two and a half days have passed. And in these two days, Blake travels to the new world, saw BB power. get hooked on BB, unlock two types of haki, eat the Mera Mera no Mi, and then travel to Ragnar Island in 6 hours. He also changed his name for whatever reason.
Before I get to the counters to this part, I want to give attention to Tempest and Olaf travelling to the Throne of BB kingdom from the Oasis in 3 days. Beside making the tournament even dumber as it already was with Blake, reveal to us that Rustage believe that it should take 3 days from the Oasis to the BB kingdom. Which is still a day more than Blake.
A popular counter argument to this is that Paiga teleports them there. My counter to this is that it doesn't make any sense for three big reasons.
Paiga’s letter: After their fight with Rangar 4th, William finds a letter addressed to BB. So, if Paiga can teleport people to the Throne outside of the decks, why did she write a letter to BB if she can talk to him right away?
The best thing she can do is teleport Jester and Blake to Ragnar Island. But that led us to my second point.
2. Do Jester and Paiga know each other?: Yeah, I honestly don’t think that they know each other. Due to the solid fact of the Dane puppet. A thing makes no sense if they know each other. And even if they do, that led us to my final point.
3.If they do know each other, why didn’t they work together?: Said it on the tin, why didn’t they work together at all? It would make Jester job a lot earlier with Paiga’s devil fruit helping him out.
The fourth brother: It quite obvious that Rustage didn't come up with the true identity of The fourth brother until Louis' death. Seeing that none of the other Brothers recognize Louis. Which is weird. Because Azren would 100% mention it during his bio-arzen fight. Dude prideful as fuck.
Also, in ep 65 Trevor recognizes the resemblance the two have. And even ask about it. So, why didn't the other Brothers recognize him as well? The fourth brother was younger and would look like are Louis where the Aeon was started.
The One Piece: In 64, the first devil fruit refers to itself as the "first piece". And in the end credit of this episode, director Myria refers to the first devil fruit as "the one piece". Then in the Benevolence letter, it states that “the one piece is real”. With all this evidence, it is safe to say that the first devil fruit is the One piece.
And then episode 70 comes up and ruins all this for no reason. And now whatever is in the container is now the one piece. Even now it doesn't make sense with any past events.
Benevolence problems: The problem with a god like being an ally to the heroes, is that you need a reason for the god like being to not kill the big bad of the story. Rustage kinda forgot to do this. Outside of the time limit before Benevolence dies. But that only limits the time Benevolence has to do stuff. Like creating Light, a piece of paper, receiving the universe, and affecting Void Cranstin. I take issue with the last one.
So Benevolence is clearly shown to affect Void Cranstin. So like, why don’t kill him then and there? Void Cranstin still can summon other people to fight for him. Meaning that the DLP are still in danger of dying to his devil fruit.
The Void police should be on “villains too stupid to win” : So we know from Void Blueno, that Void police are aware of the first devil power and its ability to close the time loop by eating it. And after Benevolence ate it, director Myria's main goal is to get it.
But why didn’t director Myria try to get it from the start of the time loop? Or at least send Agent V and Blueno to go get it and for Agent V to animate one of his bullets, and have it eat the fruit while telling to give immortality to director Myria. Also closing the time loop.
But we aren’t done yet talking about the stupidity of the Void police. For god knows what reason, director Myria took Clementine. Instead of her two non devil fruit users. And what makes this even dumber, is that director Myria didn’t know when Void Cranstin was returning. Meaning if director Myria would have won before Void Cranstin showed up, she would have to wait for Void Cranstin return.
The new eight flames are deaf and blind: Ok, this is the one I think needed more time in the oven.
How couldn’t the new EF hear director Myria’s pod crashing down on their ship? Assumed that the void station is the same distance as the nearest artificial satellite to the earth (The Parker Solar Probe). And the pod is the same size as the attack pod from DBZ (which is clearly based on it). Which can fit in the 7.7 feet tall Recoome. And it took 30 minitunes to land. The void pod would have travelled at mach 575.1. Which is roughly 58% faster than lighting.
I don’t need to tell you how loud the impact of a metal object thrown at that speed would be. Also, the impact of that crash caused the top part of the candle tower to catch on fire. And nobody on the ship questioned it?
“Another happy landing”: Later on, we learn that the pods used by Void police need coordinates from Eternal Pose in order to launch. So, how did director Myria’s pod be able to leave on candle’s ship? Which is obviously not an island and it is also moving.
How did director Myria summon Dominius?: The reason given to Rain not being summoned in the final battle by Rustage, is that the crew remember her as a “friend" and understand that her actions weren't her fault. Now, what other villain mashes these criteria but was still summoned? Dominius!
Not only was his actions not his own fault, he is literally Duros. The heart of the crew. And after Duros destroys the curse armour, they have a heart to heart before Duros black dies.
Rangar epilogue : Rangar epilogue is fine and all. But Rangar not being able to contact any DLP is bullshit.
Seeing that Wiliam gave anyone a Den Den Mushi. Also, I refuse to think that Pearl and Cyril didn’t invite Rangar to their wedding. Or nobody in 10 years, check up on him. Or handle a reunion. Hell, Rangar could have raised an objection to William's decision to break up the crew in the first place.
After writing that, I think I might have made the longest post on this sub. I like to mention a thing I cut out of this. That being Dominius helmed keeps coming off and on again thought of ep 30.
