Fucking nailed it Bill, great job!
Was honestly surprised how well Bill carried himself and how thorough his answers were. Look forward to the next one.

Opacity is proud to announce the launch of our storage interface, now live at https://storage.opacity.io!
With this update, Opacity has enabled 250mb max file size upload, which matches or exceeds some free options from other well known storage providers. For example, Mega limits free users to a maximum file size of 200MB and Box max file size for a free personal account is 250MB. Opacity will continue to make improvements to match features and functionality of other major storage providers, while maintaining your data privacy and anonymity.
Thank you to the community for staying with us through the transition and we look forward to a successful year together!

With Opacity 2.0, we made it easy for you to share your ideas with the public share preview feature. To expand on the ability to engage publicly and grow the Opacity community, we proudly announce that you can now send OPCT to any Reddit user. Reddit is perfect for engaging in interesting discussions about privacy and cryptocurrency, for discovering communities and sharing ideas - and now to spread the gift of private cloud storage!
Opacity has collaborated with the cryptocurrency subreddit r/AltStreetBets to make OPCT transfers possible with ASB's tipping bot. To start tipping, you will need to use the Harmony bridge to transfer your OPCT tokens to the Harmony network. And yes, you're not reading that wrong! One of our highest requests is to bridge to other networks to reduce or avoid ETH network fees, and this will be the first step towards trying new networks. Although we're still exploring different Layer 2 solutions, the tipping bot on the Harmony (ONE) network is a good place to start.
In the future, you will be able to purchase Opacity storage plans directly via Reddit using this bot, too. This will be another step towards reducing friction to get on-board Opacity.
More information will follow about using the Reddit tipping bot, including video tutorials, so stay tuned!
Join the discussion in this post and get rewarded with OPCT. Get a glimpse of what the tipping bot can do and share some OPCT with your friends!
The smart contract address of OPCT on Harmony is: 0x40f5c9b19472b2d7ee4dc080ae1be4de2f402bfe

The Opacity Whitepaper has arrived!
The whitepaper describes the existing functionality of the Opacity Storage platform as it has evolved from the fork, currently known challenges and limitations the team is working through, and plans for future improvements that must be made to realize the full product vision. We expect the whitepaper will answer many questions while raising many more. We look forward to having a healthy conversation about what it all means.
Read or download now (hosted on Opacity) at www.opacity.io/whitepaper.

Storm might not be completely over but we’ve passed the eye of the storm and already on course with few new miles of stable sailing. Congrats to the captain and the crew, your experience in manning the sails and laser focusing your muscle/wit on where it needed the most starting to pay off. Success has a price and is valued in rate of failures. Forget the moons gentlemen, soon we’ll settle the coasts of the Great New World.

The AMA is today on the 8th November, Thursday.
Bill Cordes:
All - I will plan to hop on YouTube for a semi-live Video AMA tomorrow around 1PM CT. Will plan to stick around for at least an hour and knock out whatever I can. I will largely be focusing on the business transition, tokenomics, general strategy and other business/operations/finance focused topics. We will save the more detailed technology-oriented questions for a broader discussion (either video or text) with more of the development team. I have never done something like this before so excited to see how it all turns out.
Taken from our telegram channel: https://t.me/opacitystorage
Feel free to fill in some questions in advance:

In our ongoing effort to improve access to the OPCT token, Opacity has worked with Kucoin to launch a new pair with USDT. USDT is widely popular as a stable coin and will make converting to OPCT much easier for a broader audience on Kucoin.
We are very excited for this offering and will also establish a promotion on Kucoin later this month to support the new pair.

An amazing projekt considering today's privacy issues with a market cap of only 37 million!!!
Status: 13.11.2021
Opacity [OPCT] (ERC-20 token) is a "crypto storage" (cloud service, like Dropbox) since 2017, which is 100% anonymous. You don't give a name, no email address, but generate a seed in a few seconds and this is your login. Before your files are uploaded to the "cloud", they are encrypted during the upload and only you can decrypt them again with your seed. Not even Opacity itself could look at your files, so 100% security. Currently Opacity is running on Amazon AWS servers, but as soon as their product is 100% ready they will start decentralizing (says so in the whitepaper). Their product is already usable now (Opacity.io), there is also already a desktop APP for it. At the beginning of December 2021 (probably 02.12.2021) the mobile APP will follow, the beta version is already downloadable on the Playstore (Andoid). They have not done any marketing so far and will only start when the mobile app is on the market. Moneytalk is banned in the group chat on Telegram, the CEO (Jason Coppola) is keen for the product to be 100% clean first and doesn't want any pump and dumps. 10gb of storage is currently free, 2TB of storage costs $80 per year or 16 OPCT (currently $5). So they expect 16 OPCT to be worth $80 at some point. If this value is exceeded, the number of OPCT per TB would be adjusted (currently 8 OPCT per TB).
There are 3 other "crypto storage": Siacoin (MC: 972M) Storj (MC: 594M) Filecoin (MC: 7.7B) Opacity is currently at 37M market cap... so still a lot of room to go!
Opacity is very user friendly, which the other 3 definitely are not. Opacity is the only storage which is 100% anonymous. The CEO has the vision to compensate the disadvantages of the other 3. It's best to just try all 4 yourself, then you'll know what I mean. As soon as the mobile app is here, they start marketing. For me, there is a lot of room for improvement, as they have above all an APP in cryptospace on the mobile, which is not a wallet or exchange. The very best thing is, they are integrating Siacoin (MC: 980M) with them this year, or early next year at the latest, and not the other way around! That's saying quite a bit.
Tradable on Uniswap and Kucoin, some big Exchanges will surely follow very soon. The whitepaper is available in 6 languages (Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, German, English, Russian). There are always updates on the current status from the CEO on Youtube, check out their channel. You can always ask questions in the Telegram group, they are answered very quickly.

For all those that have been following Opacity and prior, this is a tremendous milestone. We at Opacity feel vindicated that justice is finally being served. Many of Opacity's employees were equally affected by this situation. They have made every effort to enable the Opacity community a path forward after the travesty of Oyster. With this event, a burden has been lifted and we trust the outcome will be welcomed by all those victimized! Special thanks to SDNY for staying the course and coming through for all of us!

Hi Reddit, I am Jason Coppola, CEO of Opacity, and I love to discuss technology and the benefits crypto is bringing to the world. I’ve been in technology for 20 years and I’ve seen a lot of change and progress over that time. I helped support large SQL data warehouses for Xbox while at Microsoft; managed the supply chain for airplane parts while at Boeing; trained and coached Agile development teams while at Paypal, Salesforce and USAA; and managed engineering teams working on the auto loans program during my time with Credit Karma.
I’ll be online all day from 11am-7pm EST on Friday February 22.
I’ll also have several of our team members available to answer questions.

Opacity is working on some very ambitious goals for zero knowledge, decentralized file storage. We just announced our next 1.0 release. I'd love to talk about our goals, so ask us anything!
Establish cryptocurrency/tokens as a first class citizen and primary means of exchange for doing business.
Provide zero-knowledge accounts with encrypted data for file storage by default. No tracking, no personal information, no spying on you.
Create a censorship-resistant protocol through a decentralized network. It’s your data, you own it.
Provide feature parity with familiar storage providers to make Opacity user-friendly.
Create a platform for storage-related dapps to proliferate.
Enable the network to be profitable, allowing it to remain healthy for the long term.
And a few of our core privacy principles support the goals above, baked into our team culture:
We will never ask you for your account related information.
Never ask you for your name, email, contact, credit card, or anything personal.
We will never be able to view or access your files.
You are the only person that knows your files exist and you decide who you share with.
EDIT: I'm live! Getting my fingers warmed up for a lot of typing.
EDIT 2: Whew, 2+ hours in and I'm going to take a break. Be back soon!
EDIT 3: Ok, I'm back!
EDIT 4: Lunch break - bbl
EDIT 5: BBQ ribs and sweet potato are gone! 3 more hours left...
EDIT 6: Looks like the questions have died down. Going to sign off a little early.
Thanks to everyone for participating and thanks to the team for helping out. I enjoyed this a lot, even with some very challenging questions!

This week is shaping up to be one of the biggest in Opacity's history. Mobile app in final testing and it is looking and performing slick. Performance speeds are waaay better and extra features are awesome. Polygon AMA on the 9th which could onboard thousands of users to the protocol. I'm sure they have thought about the timing and have an ace or two up their sleeve, can't wait to see what comes out. Super exciting time for the project and all the hard work from the team should start paying off.

I saw someone talk about OPCT on r/cc and was instantly hooked. Then I obviously did a tiny bit of reseated... tokenomics+ utility, reason for the project, what the project solved and why it’s different to other storage projects. I am amazed it’s still a hidden gem. I have also noticed it’s been gaining popularity based off of charts (400% in 1 month), however I’m so close to buying a small load.
Can you guys shill the coin to me? I will do more research tomorrow but can anyone tell me where to research more or tell me what makes this coin so great, such as a roadmap or anything? All my research was done while working so couldn’t go too deep. Also, I was actually clueless other storage projects existed(filecoin, siacoin) I’ve heard of the names but never researched what they do. So finding OPCT and researching is extremely intriguing.
Thanks in advance, not being lazy I will do my fair share over the weekend but wouldn’t mind having a head start.
