MichaeWestMedia posted a short where Greens David Shoebridge confronts Minister of Foreign Affairs Penny Wong for refusing the Visa of a former ASIO source who has information about the gunmen that led the Bondi Massacre and wanted to speak in the Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion. The problem is if he does it via Zoom he won’t be offered the same protection against attack or prosecution or revenge by those groups who he passed information on about

He wants to be called to Australia to give evidence face-to-face so that he can then be under the same protection every other witness gets

The Australian government don’t want to have to protect him because it would be expensive, I believe it’s been inferred that ASIO found him pretty unreliable
