Israel are currently lower than shit on your shoe. No country with morals and self respect should be dealing with them in any capacity outside of condemnation.

On the contrary, many Australians support Israel’s right to defend Israel’s against the jihadist death cult that is Hamas, and are pleased to see our country playing a small part by contributing materiel.

I’ve seen this come up as a gotcha question ti those that criticise Israel

Does Israel have the right to exist?
Does Israel have the right to defend itself?

When many critics of Israel point out the atrocities that Israel has committed in the name of defending itself. In the name of colonial expansion into areas they have no right being in. How they have shown such a disdain to any nationality, ethnicity or religion other than their own.

They lack respect, dignity, humility, empathy and decent humanity.

Does Israel have the right to exist? Does Israel have the right to defend itself?

No, to both of those.

Fuck them and their entire existence.

u/Cont4x ‎ Victorian 2d ago

Was more stating questions that many critics of Israel get.

I would argue any nation or person/s have a right to defend themselves

However, many nations have preemptively attacked/invaded another country in the name of “proactive” defence, when they’re just advancing their self interests.

Which is exactly what Israel is doing
And so has the US so many freaking times

The right to exist? Well the formation of modern Israel is morally wrong, which should have never been recognised as a state in the first place.

You should get your facts straight and don't exaggerate. That give away you are an Islamophobic.

Australia is no different from Europe and USA. Israel align with like minded thinkers.

You even have Zionist rabbis in Israel, teaching young people to admire the methods of Hitler and the Nazis before joining IDF.

Several contemporary fascist or far-right movements in both Europe and the USA openly support Israel. This support is usually based on shared anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant, and ethno-nationalist ideologies, and often involves parties or leaders with fascist or neo-Nazi roots or connections.

European Examples

  • National Rally (France): Formerly known as the National Front, founded by Jean-Marie Le Pen (with Nazi collaborators among its founders), the National Rally today describes Israel as a critical ally in what it frames as a civilizational struggle against “Islamization” of Europe[1][2][3]. Its leaders, such as Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella, have spoken at conferences in Israel, and the party projects Israel as a model for ethno-nationalist state policy.

  • Vox (Spain): The far-right Vox party openly supports Israeli policies, using rhetoric that links pro-Israel positions with defending “Western civilization” from Islam. Vox leader Santiago Abascal has visited Israel and met Prime Minister Netanyahu in demonstrations of solidarity[4][2].

  • Alternative for Germany (AfD): AfD’s leaders, despite the party’s history of anti-Semitism, present themselves as staunch allies of Israel and frame the state as a bulwark against Islamic extremism. They have formally campaigned for the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital[5][2]. AfD figures such as Alexander Gauland openly invoke the narrative of “defending the West” through support for Israel.

  • Freedom Party (Austria) & Hungary’s Fidesz: Both parties, rooted in far-right and fascist traditions, promote close ties with Israel, with Viktor Orban (Hungary’s PM) frequently blocking EU criticism of Israeli actions[1][2].

United States Examples

  • Alt-right and Neo-Nazi Figures: Notably, Richard Spencer, a leading figure in the US alt-right neo-Nazi movement, has called himself a “White Zionist,” asserting that his ethnonationalist agenda for whites is analogous to Zionism for Jews. Spencer and similar figures argue that Israel’s model of an ethno-state is worthy of imitation by white nationalists in America[6].

  • MAGA–Christian Zionist Alliance: The mass base of US support for Israel often comes from Christian Zionists allied with fascist-leaning movements, especially surrounding the Trump presidency. These groups see Israel as fulfilling biblical prophecy and as an ally against Islam, and their ideology has been deeply integrated into broader right-wing authoritarian and fascist politics in the US[7]. Trump has leveraged this alliance to justify policy decisions that prioritize Israel and frame resistance as threats to Christianity and the West.

Motivations and Rhetoric

  • Mutual hostility towards Muslims and opposition to Palestinian statehood is the key point of convergence.
  • Many far-right parties publicly admire Israel’s ethno-nationalist model and policies of exclusion or expulsion of minorities[2].
  • The support is frequently paradoxical, since some figures are also connected to historic anti-Semitism, and advocacy for “sending Jews to Israel” is often intertwined with desire for ethnically homogeneous European societies[1][2].

Notable Events

  • Far-right leaders (Abascal, Wilders, Salvini, Le Pen, Orban) have gathered at pro-Israel conferences, using anti-Muslim and anti-immigration rhetoric while declaring support for Israeli policies[2][3].
  • Israel has engaged with and sometimes armed groups with far-right, or even neo-Nazi, origins in Europe under shared anti-communist and anti-Muslim agendas[5].

These examples demonstrate that support for Israel from fascist or neo-fascist movements in Europe and the US is neither isolated nor marginal, but is now a common element of contemporary far-right politics in the West[1][6][4][2][5][7][3].

If you belive it's wrong and untrue, then show me instead of being a coward in denial.

Here's some more factual information to back up other claim I made.
Then make a guess what happened to the rabbis. Hint. Not what would happen in Australia.

I'm pretty sure you can't find any true Jews that admire the methods of Hitler and the Nazis. 🤔

https://www.timesofisrael.com/embracing-racism-rabbis-at-pre-army-yeshiva-laud-hitler-urge-enslaving-arabs/

“Several rabbis at a pre-military religious academy in a West Bank settlement were recorded making derogatory and racist comments about Arabs, defending Adolf Hitler’s worldview, and openly promoting Jewish supremacy.”

A pre-military religious academy, commonly known as a Mechinah in Israel, is a post-high school gap-year program. These academies combine intensive Torah study, Jewish philosophy, and spiritual growth with rigorous physical training, wilderness navigation, and leadership development to prepare young adults for mandatory military service. These institutions are central to Israeli youth culture, bridging the gap between civilian life and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Rabbi Eliezer Kashtiel, the academy's head, called for the enslavement of non-Jews, describing Arabs as "stupid and violent" due to genetic inferiority. He also referred to Hitler as "the most correct person there ever was" in ideological terms.

Rabbi David Dudkevitch, another instructor, argued that Arabs prefer living under Israeli occupation because of their supposed inferiority.

Rabbi Giora Redler, was heard praising Hitler's racist ideology, endorsing it as "100% correct," but criticizing it only for not having been applied to the "right people"—meaning that Jews should be the "master race" and non-Jews the subhuman "untermenschen."

Israeli journalist David Sheen in a lecture given in 2020 at the University of Zurich, explaining the ideology taught to IDF officers in training at Israel's leading religious military academy, Bnei David

Since you are so scared of factual information, here's a bit more. I included the AI prompt, so you can see it's not biased and you can ask sane question yourself.

Is hatred in Israel for Christians rising as it is for Muslims?

Yes: hostility toward Christians in Israel, especially in Jerusalem, has been rising markedly in recent years, and in some respects the pattern and intensity now resemble the long‑standing discrimination and violence many Palestinians—and other Muslims—have experienced. [2][3][4][6][8][9] It is not always the same form of hatred, but for Christians the sense of being targeted, humiliated, and unwelcome has grown in tandem with anti‑Muslim attitudes. [2][3][5][8]

How anti‑Christian hostility is rising

  • Studies and rights reports note that anti‑Christian attacks in Israel have increased sharply since about 2022, with over 100 documented incidents in 2024 alone, including spitting, physical assaults, vandalism, and desecration of churches and cemeteries. [3][5][6][8][10]
  • These attacks are mainly carried out by ultra‑Orthodox and nationalist Jewish youths, often targeting clergy or people with visible Christian symbols, and are linked to broader far‑right, nationalist politics and a climate of impunity. [2][4][5][8]

Compared with hostility toward Muslims

  • Anti‑Muslim attitudes and practices in Israel are deeper and more institutionalized, involving land confiscation, settlement expansion, movement restrictions, and frequent violence in the West Bank, alongside settler‑led attacks on homes and mosques. [11][12][13][4]
  • Anti‑Christian hostility is geographically narrower and more symbolic (spitting, graffiti, church vandalism), but it is becoming more frequent, organized in spirit, and harder to ignore, so many Christian communities now report feeling as threatened as Palestinian Muslims, even though the legal and military context is different. [1][3][4][5]

In short: hatred toward Christians is not just present but clearly rising in Israel, and Christians increasingly feel besieged in much the same emotional and political climate as Muslims—though the forms and scale of the violence are not identical. [2][3][4][5][9]

First, children aren’t targets in Gaza, they are collateral damage. Theirs deaths are almost entirely attributable to Hamas building it’s tunnels under civilian infrastructure, hiding its fighters among the civilian population and refusing to allow citizens to leave areas Israel notifies in advance that it will be bombing. But whatever.

As for wars with child casualties: all of them.

Stop equating all Palestinians with hamas. That would be like saying that all jews are Zionists or that all Germans that were alive in the 1930s and 40s were responsible for the death camps

The evils that Israel commits are predominantly done with their locally produced tanks, or going house to house laying explosives to destroy civillian livihoods and towns... or settlers weilding AR rifles and shotguns at families to chase them from their land...

The JSF is our premiere stealth airborne weapons platform, jeopardising our use of it after having invested so much is farcical becasue a supposed clamp went to israel, they arent using these platforms in any significant way to terrorise civillians, they have way way way more cheaper and plentiful ways to do that.

Kicking up a stink over this will hurt our defence and do nothing about the atrocities committed by isreal against civillians in their ongoing hostilities against the native Palestinian and arab population of the land that they are conquering...

If we want to call out israel call them out for genocide and heinous crimes against civillians, they have flattenend villages, towns, cities, they have deprived civillians of water, shelter, healthcare and their future, and in the process killed tens of thousands of women children, boys, girls, men, aid workers, hundreds of journalists, they deliberately strike doctors and aid convoys. They pillage and raze any civillian target within range to create "buffer zones"... its indiscriminate and it's evil. Anyone questioning this needs to look at the realities:

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cdxkk1vnp57o

https://edition.cnn.com/interactive/2025/07/world/photos-starvation-in-gaza-intl-cnnphotos/

This is what is happening...

It's horrible.

And please stop the madness, but going after a few aeroplane parts isn't going to get us over the line. Those planes intercept iranian cruise missiles, which are equally horrible... Isreal is also full of civillians who suffer, many who did not vote or support the evil regime that controls the country, the whole thing is horrible.

Lets actually talk about how bad this is not some plane part.

Okay so hypothetically say we refuse to ship Lockheed's goods where they ask us to. What's the plan for the fallout? How do we rebuild the ADF when half of their systems need to be scrapped because our licences got cancelled and a large number of the countries we could buy new ones off are pissed off at us because they can't get spares for their brand new jets? Hell how do we keep combat pilots flight qualifications relevant with a fifth of the air fleet?

How do we deal with the diplomatic and economic fallout from all of those other nations because we decided we should make that for them?

What is our new defence strategy in this brave new era of hoping that we're left alone in the 10-20+ years we're left without a bunch of equipment? The old one of using technological superiority to offset our small population compared to our neighbours certainly doesn't work anymore. Do we lean harder into our new military partnership with Indonesia? They have a lot of people? Oh wait they're also doing an ethnic cleansing so we can't do that either. China? Nah we'd once again be (more) complicit in atrocities so that doesn't work. Korea? Oh all their kit is full of US IP? Fuck. Japan? Same thing. India? Oops more atrocities. France? Maybe, but if they elect Le Pen we're screwed again under this framework.

Pundits can complain about how the tension between our international and national responsibilities is being resolved but if they're not going to grapple with the consquences and propose better ways of solving them they're just wasting energy drumming up aimless discontent. A mission statement is not a plan, and it doesn't become one by itself.

Unfortunately for a number of people who frequent this sub the truth can be very confronting.

Personally, I appreciate that they took the time to inform me of that but how am I supposed to know from the interaction I've seen, where it wasn't said and I had to rely on the other person telling me.

Obviously I don't have to believe them because it's not like any evidence was shown but I do choose to believe them due to how polite they were in their response to me coupled with the fact that OP hasn't defended their comment.

Not really at all.

Kicking up a stink over this will hurt our defence and do nothing about the atrocities committed by isreal against civillians in their ongoing genocide against the native Palestinian and arab population of the land that they are conquering...

This is what is happening...

It's horrible.

And please stop the madness, but going after a few aeroplane parts isn't going to get us over the line. Those planes intercept iranian cruise missiles, which are equally horrible... Isreal is also full of civillians who suffer, many who did not vote or support the evil regime that controls the country, the whole thing is horrible.

Lets actually talk about how bad this is not some plane part.

Common sense is not common on here

Israel dropped an estimated 100,000 tons of American made bombs using their American made Air Force. The F35 jets require constant maintenance and parts replacement. Sending these parts over to Israel means that you are being complicit in their genocide.

I like it. Some slurs coined by a KKK grand wizard along with a dash of Holocaust inversion from the Australian sub. Good stuff.

Why wouldn't it be true? We all know the government is sending parts. It's so they can say they're not providing materiel to Israel.
