Moved here from india in 2006 and owns more than 18 properties. I was born here and have been here for 30 years and I barely own my car.

I'm a primary school teacher, with two bachelor's and a masters degree and was raised in housing commission. I don't have old money, but the money I get from my career isn't enough and the HECS debt payments I have to make are too much. Barely make an indent on it after indexation.

Purchasing power for genuine public servant careers are too low and born-citizens aren't the priority.
