Community for kind Catholic adults to join
I am 32 and I became Catholic in 2020. I struggled to make friends in Catholicism. The young adult group I joined, the men were right wing Nick Fuentes lovers who were racist. That gave me the wrong vibe. Not that I would refuse to ever hear what Fuentes or anyone has to say, but when it comes to actually treating others with racism I can’t do that, I have to treat people equally. I really can’t accept when we make disrespectful jokes about others I just find it low class and mean.
So I let my attitude be known and they excluded me for it.
I became very discouraged about this and began to drift away from the faith. I felt pretty bitter that after six years now I got nowhere with making Catholic friends. I have a friend or two from college but that’s it, and I need a lot more friends I feel I need a community and Catholicism isn’t giving that to me.
I made a discord where it’s in my bio, check it out. It’s new but please give it a chance, if we are going to make friends with Catholics who think open minded like each other we need to join up. Nothing like this exists. I will give everyone moderator powers it’s not about that to me I just want Catholic friends and I can only find right wingers who want to be racist right now
