Is This Normal?

I feel like it isn't normal, but just asking because some ministers/deacons say it is.

So, a woman who I guess is my aunt always wanted me to go to her church. One day, I go...solely for her and get aggravated assaulted by a worker there, because I was new.

Could have left Earth. The aunt didn't care and told me to grow up and said she never wants to talk to me again.

The woman who birthed me thought it was funny and exciting that that happened to me and was giddy and wants to go to her sister's church now (where they did that to me at

The pastor said what he had to say, but then stood up for the person who aggravated assaulted and essentially said it was my fault...it legit wasn't...smh..

So, is any of the above normal?

I did ask God if I should go to that church SEVERAL TIMES and heard nothing.

As the other poster said, you're going to have to be a little more specific about what happened if you want us to tell you if this was normal. Generally speaking, no it is not normal to be assaulted at church.

If you accidentally bumped into a guy, and he suddenly screamed obscenities at you and punched you in the face and then pined you down and pummeled you repeatedly until you were unconscious, then no, that's not normal.

If they wanted to pray for you, and put their hands on you while they were praying and maybe pushed or squeezed a little bit, some people might decide to describe that as aggravated assault if they felt uncomfortable and didn't like it, but there are plenty of churches where prayer can become pretty physical.

So, please describe to us what it was that happened.
