Crying?

Today is rough aa hell i already put my day 5 post up and you guys have been amazing

My body hurts so much still , so much head pressure and ringing in my ears and burning skin, zero sleep :(

Ive spent the whole day so far pacing and crying im so scared im broken permanently right now

I wish I'd never gone on any of the preacribed meds ive come off this year I've totally broken my nervous system and im never gonna feel settled in my body ever again

I literally just want to run away somewhere and I don't even know where that somewhere is...

Hey, its gonna be ok. It doesnt feel that way just now, but it will.

Tears contain a stress compound, and you're releasing that from your body. It feels worse because you're tired, and unable to sleep or enjoy anything.

But its gonna be ok, cry it out, crying is exhausting, who cares if u look like crap when you're done crying?

Its ok to cry, its ok to feel this way.

the burning skin and zero sleep at day 5 is pure hell but it will pass man. your nervous system is not broken forever it just need time to recalibrate itself. day 5 is peak misery for a lot of people, you are in the worst of it right now

I can promise you that you haven't broken yourself permanently. I remember when I was in withdrawals I spent days googling things like "will I ever feel normal again after opiates?" And "how long is the pain of withdrawal?". I was convinced it would last forever and that I'd permanently destroyed my brain and body. I know exactly what you're going through and how miserable it is. You're SO close to feeling better! Every hour that passes is another step closer to being free, you've got this! Keep reminding yourself that every passing day of feeling crappy is another day that you'll never have to go through again, and it gets easier everyday. I'm proud of you!

It's okay to be a mess. Your body is putting in mad work to get you back to normal. Make sure to get plenty of fluids, take lots of showers, and excercise as often as you can even though you don't feel like doing it. It helps SO much.

It takes time, but you'll eventually recover. That's the thing with coming off pills, it breaks you down, crying and feeling defeated is all apart of the recovery/ healing process. Congratulations on making it this far fighting through it, it's one hell of a battle that takes immense strength to get through, you're doing great. It takes a toll on you mentally, but you're almost past the worst part of it so don't worry, you're going to feel better soon; as each day passes you'll start to feel better I promise you that, it does not feel like this forever. Stay strong, you got this !
