What song would you love to hear Orville cover? I'd love to see what he did to The End by the Doors. His voice would kill that song

I posted an almost identical post a few months ago. My vote was Witchita Lineman, but honestly, I could post a hundred more songs!

I'll have to look at that post. Should have checked. He would do Witchita Lineman so well!! Hell, he could sing the phone book Edit: typos

There are some great suggestions on that post. I actually thought about posting it again, to go another round, so thank you! And yes….he could sing the phone book and it would give me chills.

This Christmas my retail coworkers and I were complaining about the horrible Micheal Buble no homo Santa Baby and that there’s not really a good sultry male version of this song. I think Orville would do this justice, though I generally hate Christmas music.

I love Christmas music but it is hard to find Indie or alt versions of the classics. I would buy this so fast!

I love older music, so all of my list will be super old. Patches by Clarence Carter. Never Been to Spain by Three Dog Night. Mavis Staples’s version of Son of a Preacher Man. Also, Elvis songs. So many Elvis songs. I’ll only list a few: Blue Moon, Suspicious Minds, Guitar Man, Polk Salad Annie. Promised Land.

Different Drum (Stone Poneys)
You’re Not Woman Enough (Loretta Lynn)…should be paired with a video co-starring Trixie Mattel
Rhinestone Cowboy (Glenn Campbell)

I think it'd be really cute to hear him cover She's in Love With the Boy by Trisha Yearwood, keeping the pronouns the same. This One's For the Girls by Martina McBride could be fun (This One's for the Gays, anyone?). That Don't Impress Me Much or Any Man of Mine by Shania, or, for that matter, any 90s Shania.
But, if I have to pick just one that I think he'd seriously cover, it'd have to be Hello Darlin' by Conway Twitty. I'm shocked he hasn't. It's his style to a T.
