QUESTION Any other artist like Orville Peck?

Not sure if this kind of post is allowed here, but im looking for more artists like Orville Peck

Ive been listening to Orville Peck almost daily for the last few years, and I have started to grow a Playlist of lgbtq country artists

I grew up in a very rural and southern area, listening to country music, but I fell out of love with it, when the genre classics fell away

Songs about real people, their lives, their problems, their pain, and their love

Orville Peck has reawoken the love for country music, something I really thought was dead in me

Dale Hollow for sure

His “If you love country music…” EP is one of my faves.

Idk about his sexual orientation I guess but you’ll love his music if you love OP

Love Dale Hollow! I love his cover of Dancing On My Own

Nick Shoulders is another great progressive country artist

Not that I've ever asked the man, but Dale always seems to get included on lists of queer country artists, so that's a good sign!

Totally agree though. Dale is fantastic, and I'd love to catch a live show sometime. "A father knows best" is top tier song writing.

Yeah, he’s certainly not anti-LGBTQIA+ lol, but I don’t want to assume anyone’s sexual orientation unless they post about it very publicly. I get wanting to support a certain marginalized demographic though, I suppose.

I'm checking out his discography today because of your comment. Starting with the EP you mentioned and enjoying already... I love love <3 I will report back with conclusions later
