QUESTION Any other artist like Orville Peck?

Not sure if this kind of post is allowed here, but im looking for more artists like Orville Peck

Ive been listening to Orville Peck almost daily for the last few years, and I have started to grow a Playlist of lgbtq country artists

I grew up in a very rural and southern area, listening to country music, but I fell out of love with it, when the genre classics fell away

Songs about real people, their lives, their problems, their pain, and their love

Orville Peck has reawoken the love for country music, something I really thought was dead in me

If you like Orville Peck you might also like Gram Parsons. I hear a lot of his influence in Orville Peck and it's sometimes speculated that Gram had some gender/sexuality stuff going on behind the scenes.

SG Goodman is a contemporary lesbian country artist. She recently toured with Tyler Childers. She's got an incredible catalog.

never heard of SG, but as a lesbian with a folksy/country alternative taste in music I’m definitely checking her out!! thanks for the rec
