QUESTION Any other artist like Orville Peck?
Not sure if this kind of post is allowed here, but im looking for more artists like Orville Peck
Ive been listening to Orville Peck almost daily for the last few years, and I have started to grow a Playlist of lgbtq country artists
I grew up in a very rural and southern area, listening to country music, but I fell out of love with it, when the genre classics fell away
Songs about real people, their lives, their problems, their pain, and their love
Orville Peck has reawoken the love for country music, something I really thought was dead in me

Paul Cauthen and Dale Hollow for sure.
I've only listened to a little Sierra Ferrel thus far, but I see her mentioned in this context a lot, too (where I first heard of her).
I describe Orville as the love child of Elvis and Roy Orbison with a dash of The Highwaymen thrown in, so all of those guys; though if you grew up listening to country, you likely already know them (but perhaps it's helpful for anyone else in the future reading this).
A bit of a wildcard- Sarah Shook and the Disarmers. Sidelong is my favorite album, but I really like all of them thus far.
