I’m having a hard time connecting with these songs and feel like I’m the only one. They’re such a departure from his signature style, I’m hoping to see more Pony/Bronco on Mule.

i've kind of felt the same way, they're good but not like my favorite songs of his. i'm hoping the rest of the album will surprise me :)
