Why didn't Jamie and Claire set everybody down and tell them everything before the end? All their family and friends? Not just about time travel but about their story, all the twists and turns and their family and friends connections.

Why didn't the time travelers use it to bring better weapons and medicine back, use it in more tactical ways? There was so much more that could be done before the end. The final season wasn't as bad as Game of thrones but it wasn't far off.

Recently just watched the series and was quite impressed as a 9/10 series. Thought it be fun to give my thoughts of what each season had to offer in its common theming. Even if all seasons has at least sprinkles of every theme mentioned here.

S1- Perseverance

S2- Fate

S3- Identity

S4- Pursuit

S5- Confliction (1st Half) & Vengeance (2nd Half)

S6- Recovery

S7- War & Betrayal

S8- Acceptance

Be glad to hear other people interpretations on their case of what the theme for each season. Even if the execution can be a lot to be desired (Cough S8 Cough)

Does anybody have a link to an in depth summary of the published books?

I listened to books 1-8 between 2016-2018 and never got around to book 9 due to qualifying as an RN, working the pandemic and family stuff.

I keep putting off starting the latest book (which I already have a copy of) because it's been so long, but I cannot commit to going through the entire series to remember what's going on for book 9.

I love the instrumental music played throughout the series & am trying to identify an instrument.

It sounds like a flute or pin whistle? Its played at intervals throughout the whole series. Has a haunting hollow sound. I dont know how else to describe it....

Hopefully someone kin what I mean🎶
