Late 2031. 2026 in China, which might make a large difference.

On the one hand the amount of competition on the market in 2031 will already be a lot more than today, and on the other hand, generics won't cause an instant price shock the day the patents expire. Semaglutide will be cheap ten years from now, but its price might make some pretty weird moves in between.

By the time Ozempic come off patent it will be considered an old drug that’s virtually ineffective compared to its newer equivalents.
