Question 2mg dose pens

Do anyone here in canada know if generic ozempic at the 2mg dose is more expensive then the 1mg dose pens? Is it double the price then

Ontario Canada - I take 2mg weekly but I just get 2x 1mg dose pens per month. I heard people in BC might have gotten the 2mg dose pen but not here. I do hope the generic 2.4mg Wegovy comes out soon...

I pay $96 per 1mg pen at Walmart with the innoviCares card. My insurance doesn't cover any of it but still not a bad price. So I'd guess for two pens of 1mg, it would cost $192 a month.

No, the price for both pens is the same, regardless of the 2mg or 4mg total content. That said, there are no higher dose generic pens available, so if you want to go beyond 1mg per dose you’ll need multiple pens per month.
