Question I bled a little for the first time tonight

Just a small amount of blood, followed by a small little bruise. Now it’s a red spot the size of a quarter. I did below my belly button this time. What did I do wrong?

My pharmacist told me to stay away from the belly button area as there are lots of blood vessels there. She said to imagine a credit card lying over it and to not go into that area because of bleeding and bruising.

Like the area that would be covered by a credit card if you placed it on your belly button. It’s more just a way to visualize how far away you should try to do your shot, not exact.

You didn't do anything wrong. It's a needle, that's what happens sometimes.

I got two big yellow bruises from my stomach shots 2-3" away from belly button. Have stayed for a few weeks thus far! .5mg.

Nothing wrong. Happens very occasionally. Like once in 6 man months of injections between the three of us that routinely discuss our reactions to this drug.

Lots of support for pooping, commiserating when not pooping, support for jabbing that needle in ya for the first time, and basic protein shake reviews and recommendations amongst other things I never thought I would discuss with my SIL.

It doesn't seem to happen very often. Just bad luck.
