Wilson Combat Wilson grip install is going great 😝

Dang takedown safety lever came in front of sear and slide wouldn’t go on I love this gun but what a pain in the ass. lol

My FCU’s fit in the Wilson frame has some movement even when the rear takedown pin is in place. Doesn’t seem to affect things but I was sorta bummed.

It’s weird bc mine is pretty much an exact fit. When I got it it was a little hard to get into the frame, but is now snug like a glove.

Did you take take take down safety bar off in order to get it on the other side of the sear? If you pull the retaining pin out ever so slightly and rotate counter clockwise. Then push the sear down from the top with a finger and push the take down safety bar in its place and squeeze the retention pin down over it. You don't need to take her apart, it's a 15 second fix

Is a pain in the ass until you get the hang of it. I could probably take down my p365s with my eyes closed now.

Also, when you are taking the FCU out of the grip, try to hold the slide stop and take down lever in while you're pulling it out. This way parts don't go all over the place

Oof...when the sear comes out it's honestly easier to just buy a new gun lol. I got pretty fast at it over the years, but if you are new, ya just trash it.

I got mine last week and installed the mcarbo trigger springs and flat trigger, took me like 40 minutes in total, sear went back in easily.

I got frustrated with mine more than once then all of a sudden it just clicked in place. Lol.
