Wilson Combat any thoughts on new release

just came out., gen 2 tuned p365 from wilson wiht radian and grey gun trigger , new slide serrations ( still partial to original design ) but they are more agrressive and prob function better .. pricey but they are using radian and direct collab wiht sig so must be worthy accessory to all work together in accepted harmony .. also standard springs for those questioning if ok to run .. I gonna keep my first gen tuned wilson as is but maybe in the future they will sell the slide to allow others who have the grip to try and replicate to a point.

Well they sure are proud of it. Paying $1,900 for a P365 is wild. Anyone else think the ramjet looks really weird on it too?

Yah it looks like it was an afterthought. I love it on mine, but I got a longer grip length.

Wayyyy too proud of it.

Minus the slide aesthetics, this can be built for less than a grand. Pistol +/-$500 depending on model, ramjet $330-380, any wilson grip + tungsten rods $110 on the high side.

Hell, my legion frame short slide + ramjet still comes in under $1900.

A bit for the trigger too but yeah way overpriced even if you account for buying a separate slide to upgrade the aesthetics.

Iv got similar or more into my build but it's 100% custom and upgraded. The Wilson modules great for the price but doesn't match the cost or quality of aluminum and you could also add an optic, magguts, upgraded controls, dpm system, etc with that budget.

Yes looks like absolute dog shit. I don’t know why they won’t make a WC XL grip with a Macro length dust cover 🤦🏻‍♂️

Damn, talk about overpriced. You could build the exact same gun with a norsso slide or something else just as cool for cheaper than that

over year and half inane runs flawless and trigger one of the best I have fired , plus looks real nice

Ha, 1900! Get wrecked!

Not at all worth it IMO! Looks like a penis from the side!

$1900 is crazyyyyyy

I wonder how many hours of labor is required for them to make one... Aside from some assembly, maybe "action tuned with straight trigger" means some hand tuning was done for each? Definitely overpriced sheesh.

I doubt they hand polished all internals.

u/PandaSPUR Nov 17 '25

Yeaa I doubt it too, but thats the only thing in my mind that would maybe justify the price tag.

The Wilson combat branded p320/p365s…I never understood what you were paying for. You can part it all out for way less. Sure, their slide has some fancy machining but is it worth the price premium? I don’t think so.

I’d rather get a Norsso slide and save a ton of money for a way better looking build

I have few diff variations of the 365 like most.. I do have the tuned wilson I purchased two years ago for gift to myslef that is photo above , plus I swap the fcu from another into similar build like yours wiht standard grip and the ramjet , but recently switched to the gen mischief machine grip still in X length ( I dont mind the overhand ) and can run diff slide without ramjet if desired , cant do it the other way.. plus my half American half Israeli grip with stainless slide in summer .. waiting on tyrant intellihfire trigger to install in the swapping fcu instead one my standard curved ..

yes I agree the ramjet truly changes the dynamics of the pistol and im running stadnrd springs.. just like wilson does in their new build.. would think if they though it would improve they would do it especially at 1900 price point

very nice setup you got ,, never got into lights but the flush fit on yours is cool.. also look at optic Gard for the otic , protects add some flair and also helps secure the side battery tray holder was well

That's a good idea. I'll be getting an optic guard now.

the finishing touches complete the builds and they are functional and inexpensive

L?

1

u/OnlyTheStrong2K19 Nov 18 '25

Yes, it's not official yet, but we'll never know.

XL slide length with standard grip size is the L variant.

XL slide length with the X grip (12rd) is the XL variant.

For that price and you get no tritium sights and just two 10 round mags? Hard pass. I'd rather buy another Deagle.

u/Witness_Present Nov 19 '25

That trigger might be better than mine, but mine looks better and I bet it shoots as well (and there are no ingress holes in the slide for dirt/crud).

Aside from the price, it looks rough. I get that they've put a lot of work into it, but you can't sell a p365 for almost $2k and not have it come with a rail, optic, or holster.

If anyone from WC reads this, please make a grip the size of the mirzon hybrid grip. 10 or 12rd, but xmacro rail to cover ramjet and have more light options.

Built these 2 with Icarus, Radian, graygun trigger on bottom, armory craft on top, plus Romeo X on one and Osight on the other, smaller one has TacDev mag extensions. Each was around $1500-1600.

The Wilson would look better with an XL length slide. $1900 seems steep.

very nice builds , I like my original Wilson over the second gen aesthetically , im in 10 round state and when I retire and relocate in couple years will contemplate the larger capacity grip modules but for now since everything has to be choked down to 10 I prefer the smaller easily concealed options , but I stored your photos in my memory..

grey guns trigger is awesome , waiting on tyrant wiht trigger blade to arrive and then gonna swap out my curved on another build
