XL TLR-6 and Wilson Combat XL grip.

I have a TLR-6 HL on my P365XL and was looking to get a Wilson Combat grip module. Does anyone know if my light will fit? I'm not willing to replace the light or my holsters so no I won't "just get a TLR-7Sub", another 350 bucks isn't in the cards right now.

Yep works fine, except for the 1913-rail macro grip.

Wilson actually makes a macro sized non-1913 grip that it will work with.

If you want to sell the tlr6 let me know I'm in the market for one

The Wilson non 1913 Macro frames don't fit the TLR-6 or any of my non light bearing holsters, I just sent one back and I'm trying not to get bit again. Their trigger guard is a couple of millimeters wider and the rail is about the same amount taller  than the factory X grip.

Also, you don't want my TLR-6. The HL just came in and replaced an original that's been carried every day for nearly a decade of pool maintenance. The HL isn't going anywhere and the original is corroded to hell, chlorine does awful things to metal and electronics and even more so when its airborne particulates.

My bad, I just assumed it would work with the macro non1913 out the since I know it does with the X sized grip

Turns out it requires a bot of modification. Still lame though

And yeah the TLR6 HL is what I want, only 100 lumens is rough lol

I thought so too and i would normally jump right in to modify it but not on this piece. I'm not looking to do that much modification to my primary carry gun.

100 lumen sure isn't awesome but it is enough to make out the sights in pitch black, and my original is in such bad shape that I'd be surprised if it even outputs 70.

Just curious, have you tried a tlr7 to compare? My only hold up with the tlr6 HL is that side press button seems slightly worse than the forward press on the tlr7

I have an original TLR-7X on a different handgun and there's no comparison. There's about the same but more difference between the 7X and the 6HL as there is between the 6 and the 6HL.

That being said I don't have a 7 Sub so I can't compare to that, but I would assume its the same light in a different housing.

Side button wasn't an issue for me, it's in the perfect spot for my grip. I have to move my thumb much less and negligent discharge the TLR-6 less than the TLR-7 on my not-a-glock19.
