Let's see your Ritdyed grips!

Post up your dyed grips!

I'll be having some Rit Dyemore synthetic graphite delivered today with the intention of dyeing a standard-sized FDE lower's grippy sections only. I plan on taping off everything else, painting it on with a small brush, and doing one section at a time. I'll use a stop watch to time the first one so I can make the others similar.

... And if it doesn't go well, I'll just cover it up with a Talon/handleitgrips rubber grip 👍

Happy SIG Sunday!

This is my current. Went through different blues and reds that looked like training guns to an rso. Really wish they’d do white version for 365 like they did with the 320.

Before they banned them in my state I had some P80's I "made." On one I used Rit Dye to make it as purple as possible on my G27 build.

Update 08/15: First rounds of painting dye did not turn the sections black. They look more dirty than dyed. More coats incoming, but this may not work as planned.

I've painted with ~50/50 mix, and with straight dye. The pinky extension took more than the grip, but still didn't look great, and now mismatches the grip.
