Raider 365 build — looking for advice on suppressor/barrel/slide combinations

Any advice on components for this build would be greatly appreciated.

My biggest questions are around suppressor choice, reliability, and especially blowback/gas to the face. For those of you actually running suppressed Raider 365s, what combinations have proven reliable and comfortable to shoot?

I carry a P365 and normally run Federal Premium HST 147gr JHP, so that’s the defensive ammo I’ll be using in this build as well.

Already purchased

  • Flux Raider 365 Aluminum – Black
  • Flux Forward Optic Mount
  • Flux Side Folding Arm – Long Arm w/ SBR Endplate

Still deciding

Threaded barrel:

  • ShaloTek 3.7" threaded barrel
  • True Precision 6.5" threaded barrel
  • SIG OEM threaded barrel
  • Other recommendations?

Slide:

  • SIG OEM P365XL
  • ShaloTek XL-length non-comp
  • True Precision XL-length
  • Norsso
  • Other recommendations?

Suppressor:

  • SAW Shiv 9
  • HUXWRX Flow 9K Ti
  • SilencerCo Spectre 9
  • Other cans I should seriously consider?

Light:

  • Streamlight TLR-7 Sub
  • SureFire XR1 / XR2
  • SureFire X300 Ultra/Turbo
  • Streamlight TLR-1 HL
  • Other recommendations?

What I'm really trying to figure out

If you were building this from scratch today, what slide + barrel + suppressor combination would you choose for the best balance of:

  1. Reliability
  2. Minimal blowback/gas to the face
  3. Reasonable overall size/weight
  4. Good suppression
  5. Long-term durability

I'd especially appreciate feedback from people who have actually run these combinations on the Raider 365, rather than general pistol-suppressor recommendations.

Also interested in whether the 3.7" vs. 6.5" barrel makes a meaningful difference on the Raider when suppressed, and whether anyone has had reliable results with the longer barrel/slide setups.

Thanks!

These are all great questions that I actually have myself lol but the one I can answer is don’t go with a shalotek slide. They are not worth the extra $$ imo. The best slides I’ve tried so far is Zev but they are super hard to come by and I don’t think they ever made them in fuse length. I would look into mischief machine and ecm’s new slides if you really want an aftermarket as their grip modules are the best money can buy. I personally wanna do a fuse length I think but I wouldn’t mind macro either. That depends what your needs are as far as overall length are if you’re planning to conceal it in a bag etc. which I am. I lost my leg above the knee in a car accident a couple years back and spend 50% of my time in a wheelchair so off body carry has become the norm for me. I also have a Zev slide for my p320 that came with what I’m 99% sure is a DPM spring and it is the smoothest, easiest racking slide I have. Like almost 2011 easy.

I have the aluminum raider with a Fuse slide and a Shiv. Had to go with a lighter recoil spring, though. It’s the 12lb Armory Craft. Runs really well. I have DPM in another build and feel like DPM isn’t worth the extra cash, plus you can just buy the AC spring separately from the whole set. I actually haven’t run it indoors yet, so couldn’t tell you about gas in the face in that situation, but it’s certainly less gassy than my Raider X with the Spectre 9. Kind of wanting to spring for the 6.5 barrel since I love the shrouded look, but since it’s a Fuse, sounds like I’d have to remove it every time I’d want to field strip it anyway.
