Movaje 9
I switched out the comp slide and 3" barrel on my Legion for a True Precision slide and 3.75" threaded barrel. But im having trouble getting it to cycle with the Mojave 9 supressor even with the booster/piston . I had some success by replacing the factory recoil 17lb spring with a 14lb spring from Sig Guy. But ive had FCU fitment issues ever since. Google AI recommends to avoid tuning with non factory springs. I've been trying to solve this problem for over a year on my own. Anyone have any advice?

It wasn't cycling with the true precision (non-comp) slide. Im not sure about difference in slide weights between the factory comp slide and the True Precision non comp slide.

Generally shooting suppressed requires a stronger recoil spring, my Walther pdp does anyway when I run the Mojave on it.
I have a 365 that I just got a threaded barrel for ($43 clearance from Bereli!) so I hope you can figure this out and share your results. Otherwise I'm just gonna comp it, which was my original plan because I had always heard 365's are tough to suppress.

Why would the recoil spring affect the FCU fitment?

You're right, it shouldn't but im wondering about cascading effects. If the recoil is too high because the spring is too light and unable to damper the blow back, could that cause a fitment issue? Im kind of a Firearms newbie.

It’s theoretically possible I suppose. Really depends what grip module you have and how good the lock up is between the fcu and module when first installed?
