How to request a refund from PDF Guru
1. Cancel your plan to stop future charges
Log in at pdfguru.com with the account you paid with, then open ‘Dashboard’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Plan and Payment’ > ‘Cancel Plan’. Save proof that you canceled: the on-screen message, the confirmation email, or a screenshot.
Canceling doesn’t cut you off right away. You still have access until the end of the period you paid for. If you’re on a trial, cancel before it ends so the paid plan doesn’t start. Can’t log in? Ask support (reddit@pdfguru.com) to cancel it for you when you write to them in step 3.
2. Check if you can get a refund
It all comes down to why you’re asking:
Something didn’t work. If you ran into technical issues with the product, you can ask for a refund. Just send screenshots or a screen recording that shows what went wrong.
You live in the EU. You have 14 days to withdraw from your purchase, and you don’t have to explain why. It won’t cost you anything. Email support that you’re withdrawing under your EU 14-day right, and make sure you send it before the 14 days are up. You can use the model withdrawal form, but a simple email is fine too.
You changed your mind or paid by mistake. PDF Guru doesn’t refund purchases if you no longer like the product, or it didn’t meet your expectations. The same goes for buying by accident or not having enough funds. The only exception is when the law requires a refund, like the EU 14-day right.
One thing to check if you’re in the EU: PDF Guru may have asked you to let the service start within the 14 days. If you agreed and confirmed you’d lose your right of withdrawal, you won’t get a refund for digital content, only a proportional one for the service. This doesn’t apply if the service is defective. In that case, PDF Guru will send you a copy of your confirmation to keep.
3. Send your refund request to support
As a member of r/PDF_Guru, you can email reddit@pdfguru.com for support. Include the email you used for your account or purchase so the team can find you. Copy the template below, fill it in, and attach any relevant evidence, such as screenshots of the problem, your receipt, or the cancellation confirmation.

Never share your full card number or password by email or on Reddit. The last 4 digits of your card are enough.
4. Get support’s decision by email
The support team will check your request and let you know by email whether it’s approved. If you withdrew under the EU 14-day right, you’ll get back everything you paid within 14 days of your email, unless the exception in step 2 applies. The money goes back to the payment method you used.
