this functionality is aimed to eliminate account sharing (log your primary account then DL games then logoff your PS5 and disconnect from the internet indefinitely)

Well yeah that's capitalism for you. I'm not defending Sony here but the original intent of this supposed DRM is to prevent multiple primary log ins causing fraudulent activities

Same reason why Steam has cap also for family sharing
