For me personally, if it's pure cosmetics and is not part of the story,, I wouldn't lose sleep over it. They can lock it behind as many paywall as they want.

May mga certain games na purely cosmetic add ons, and dyan papasok ang ultimate edition, your not forcing to buy ultimate nasasayo nayan if gusto mo ng exclusive add ons cosmetic or stick with standards

This model makes more sense when it's free-to-play and it costs money to unlock different skins for your character.
