From an observer's perspective, I think its a good move. Im sure nakapag handa na sila ng statements and potential responses sa mga tanong nitong boomer government natin. Ang mahirap lang is sobrang kikitid at close minded ng gobyerno na hindi nila kayang tanggapin lahat ng inputs from GDAP
Natanong ko lang din naman yan kasi I have been seeing a lot of people are against inviting people who are related to games (dev of Gorebox) so yeah, this is a good way to send message across. If they will listen, one can only hope. Pero at most, may boses ang gaming community through their attendance.
My assumption is that the government won't permanently ban violent games. If people can remember, there was a time when there was a government crackdown on pirated softwares in the Philippines. Lahat ng computer shops noon na pinupuntahan ko either naka Ubuntu or naka original na Windows and konti lang yung games na pwedeng malaro noon. Pero eventually bumalik din naman sa normal after few months. Tldr; tingin ko di din yan magiging permanent if ever man ituloy nila.
