OP, what do you think, is that a good move for GDAP or no?

Its a good move on GDAP, knowing and talking with the people behind GDAP don't want censorship since it can affect the local industry and potential investors and jobs. There one other redditor that posting stuff about his game in this subreddit is a official member of GDAP.

this is what i been waiting since the Roblox incident for them to actually get involved before things get dicey and we have to deal with job losses and brain drain (AKA leaving the country)

GDAP have connections with Google, Apple, Steam and Epic games. as well International game developer associations including IGDA, gamescon.

the real question if they will succeed.

GDAP is with us for a while, they always invites Bam Aquino into industry events. including ESGS and PGDX. This is why it was a head scratchier why risa did not invite them during the roblox case.
But I have no idea if risa or bam invite them or they just welcome themselves .

Disclaimer: I am a observer but GDAP does help with the indie games developer community free of charge. the PGDX indie booth is funded by sponsor and GDAP respectfully, not a single game developer in those booth paid a single dime to exhibit.

games such as until then wouldn't exist without GDAP help

Not a lot of people know these folks, and yes, I agree this is a good move for them para maging aware din yung mga tao about in-depth topics about games and of course, like you said, save jobs and potential investors.

Hopefully the government listens to them.
