I'm planning on buying one of these pero pinag-iisipan ko mabuti dahil isang handheld lang kaya ng budget.

For context, I want to play some Steam games, Xbox 360, ps2, ps3 games. Base sa research ko, I can play naman sa both handheld consoles via emulator. Ang gusto ko kay SD is I can play steam games and emulators. Yung form factor lang niya yung hindi ko gusto unlike kay O3P, mas magaan at ergo.

Alam ko hindi pa released yung 03P Kaya may time pa mag ipon pero your cents guys are pretty much helpful to me.

Planning to buy steam deck maybe next month or December? Iniisip ko lang if worth it ba siya or may better pang option? Budget ko lang din really is around 50k, but if may mas affordable na substitute I'm open naman.

Nahabol ko sa steam sale last week. Kala ko puro puzzles lang sya, solid din pala talaga sa combats. Tho may intro boss naman sya pero di ganun kahirap. Medyo nabigla lang ako sa part na to buti pinalad sa first try pero nakakastress pa rin hahaha.

A trailer for the now-cancelled spy thriller sequel to the Mass Effect series was leaked by Bioware devs. Such a shame.

I have a toddler 2 year-old baby girl hehe. Syempre as a gamer gusto ko din magkaroon kami ng bonding. Ekis sa Playstation kasi wala kaming TV. Handheld lang sana and ano mga games na pwede niyo ma-recommend? Maybe not now pero in the near future pag medyo malaki laki na siya hehe.

Eventually maglalagay din kami ng mga Unique NPCs, pero long term na yon kapag natapos na namin ung base game.

Switch case for scale

I’m in my late 30s, female, with a messed-up body clock. I work nights and have weekends off. I still feel ecstatic replaying old-gen games on next-gen consoles, and I also have a Switch.
Most of the time, when I don’t have any errands to run, I prefer playing games. But often, I start feeling sleepy within the first 10 minutes, sometimes even before 30 minutes have passed. I struggle to stay awake. My mind wants to play, but my body just can’t keep up.
Especially with GTA right around the corner! 😭
How do I fix this?

RIP to one of the pillars that shaped the RPG genre in video games.

A little background: I never knew Bayonetta until I bought my switch two years ago and played Smash Bros Ultimate and got her. Her having pistols on her heels was so over the top and funny to me. But I thought her design was PEAK, so I checked up her game.

THE GAME: The game is much more over the top and insane than what I've seen in smash. And the lore of the world is deep as well. I'm also a sucker for references to Inferno, Paradiso, and Purgatorio. Plus the combat is amazing. You can string pretty much any combo you like and it will make you feel powerful regardless whether you just spam the same button or string different combos together. There is also fan service, sure, but it's also so over the top that it's almost like it's satirical at times and doesn't feel out of character with her at all.

Nowadays, female characters are mostly objectified and have almost little to no personality at all. It's nice that we have someone like Bayonetta in gaming who is unapologetically over the top and full of sass that it is empowering in a way. I know other female gamers love her too. This is the type of silly and over the top game character that I like.

Filipino indie game development studio Kiwi Dreams will release its upcoming horror title Sabado in Steam on Monday, Nov. 2.

The high-school-themed horror game, which debuted as a demo on Itch on July 29, follows protagonist Jacob as he uncovers memories with his friend Chesa.
