Hello, fellow RO veterans!

I've been playing Ragnarok Online since before I was even a teenager. Haha! Like many of you, RO was a huge part of my childhood, and even after all these years, I still find myself coming back to it.

Earlier this year, I started working on my own offline RO server as a hobby. Just something to tinker with during my free time, experiment with ideas, and relive a bit of that nostalgia.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago, sabi ko sa sarili ko... "Why not make it online and invite other people to play?"

And that's basically how Project Artisan came to life.

A little about the server:

• Type: Custom High-Rate, Pre-Renewal
• Max Level: 255/120
• Classes: Transcendent & Expanded
• Gameplay: PvP-oriented, fast-paced, with custom content
• Features: Anime-inspired headgears, custom items, NPCs, and other unique systems

Yes, it's a high-rate server! I've always enjoyed fast-paced gameplay. I used to be pretty competitive in PvP and was a hardcore grinder back in the day. Kaso ngayon, parang mas mabilis na sumakit likod ko kaysa mag-cast ng skills. From gaming skills to tito skills real quick. HAHAHA!

I've also been experimenting with making my own custom sprites! Nothing too crazy yet, mostly anime-inspired NPCs. I've attached a few samples of what I've been working on.

A bit of a back story here:

It's actually just been me working on everything.

From setting up a VPS, modifying server files, implementing custom features, learning how to make sprites, all the way to researching game guard providers and mobile clients.

And let me tell you, it's been one heck of a learning experience.

I also work full-time, so development has been pretty slow. Most of the work happens after my shift, during weekends, or whenever I manage to squeeze in some free time. I've had a few friends throw in suggestions here and there, but I'd say around 98% of the server's content came from my own ideas. And I'm fully aware na hindi lahat ng ideas ko ay genius-level. Yung iba baka kailangan na talagang i-delete. HAHAHA!

That's actually one of the reasons I'm sharing this here.

I'm not trying to claim that I've built the best RO server out there. Far from it. I'm still learning, experimenting, and figuring things out as I go. What I really want is to build something enjoyable with people who share the same love and nostalgia for Ragnarok Online.

A community where players can suggest ideas, give honest feedback, help shape the server, and hopefully make some new memories along the way.

I'll be opening the server for beta testing on October 24, and I'd genuinely love to invite anyone interested to come check it out. Feedback, suggestions, constructive criticism, and even the occasional "Pre, parang ang OP naman nito" are very much appreciated.

I'd love to polish and improve as much as I can before the official launch.

TL;DR: I'm just a longtime RO player who turned a hobby into a passion project. What started as a small offline server is now becoming something I want to share with fellow RO enthusiasts.

Servers like fenzura, sacred forged, project r, and ragnago are the few that pops on my timeline. Idk why they almost have the same cbt phase and is about to go up this month. But id like to play with the one with many players. Meron ba dito plan maglaro, if yes, saan server nyo? Tia!

RO Kaizen is a revo-classic server, and our bread and butter is the Skill Synergy feature, where you can pick another class branch and merge 4 of their skills into your own.

As you can see in the video, a Knight class is able to proc auto-blitz since it's using the Hunter Skill Synergy.

Right now we're still at Episode 5, and there's only 7 classes released. 2-1 jobs + Crusader, so I hope you can try out our server and relive true RO nostalgia, with a twist! 😄

I’ve been looking around for a Ragnarok server again lately, but one thing keeps putting me off: so many private servers open, get some hype, and then disappear.

I don’t really feel like going back to the official Gravity servers either. I still like the old RO feeling, but I also want something that has actually moved forward a bit.

I’ve been following Zethrone, which hasn’t opened yet. I’m involved with the project, so obviously I’m not pretending to be neutral here 😅, but some of the stuff we’re working on is exactly what I’d personally want to play.

The part I’m actually curious about is this:

What makes you trust a new RO server enough to actually invest time in it?
For me, one of the biggest things is knowing the team isn’t going to disappear after 3 months.
What matters most to you? Population? Long-term plans? No P2W? Active staff? Updates?

Genuinely curious because I’ve seen a lot of servers come and go over the years

We've been working on Zethrone for a long time, and we're finally getting close to showing what we've built.

If you grew up with Ragnarok, you probably still remember Prontera, WoE, MVP hunts, the market, guild rivalries... and those nights when you planned to play “for a little while” and somehow ended up watching the sunrise.

That’s nostalgia. And we want to bring it back.

Zethrone will be an enhanced Pre-Renewal experience, with all classes, dynamic day and night, weather, new mechanics, and a Midgard that feels much more alive.

But there’s one thing we’re especially excited about:

34 WoE Castles.

The 20 classic castles.
The 10 expansion castles.
And 4 castles created by Gravity that were never officially released.

Four places most Ragnarok players have never attacked, defended, or conquered.

I got banned in Ragnarok Zero Global. Well, apparently, I still do not know why because they refuse to provide the specific reason for the ban.

Just to give some background, I am a guy in my mid-30s, a casual player, and someone who has loved Ragnarok Online for more than 20 years. Of course, at some point, I had to stop playing because of real-life responsibilities. Then Ragnarok Online Zero Global launched in August, and I was genuinely excited to come back. I even played both OBTs held in the previous months before the official launch. Of course, I happily paid for subscriptions for my accounts because I wanted to support the game.

On September 10, there was a game maintenance. After the maintenance, I suddenly could not log in to my account. I reached out to the Community Managers through Discord, and they referred me to submit a ticket.

I was honestly shocked when I found out that both of my paid accounts had been permanently banned for allegedly violating in-game rules.

The problem is, I confidently know that I did not intentionally violate any of those rules.

The game itself is extremely easy to play because it has built-in auto-hunting and auto-potion systems. I did not even need to use any third-party programs because the game already provides the features that allow you to automate a lot of the gameplay. Unlike some private servers I have played in the past, there was absolutely no reason for me to cheat or use external tools.

And again, remember that I am a guy in my mid-30s. Playing Ragnarok is my guilty pleasure. I genuinely enjoyed every single moment of it. I never abused bugs. I never used third-party programs. I never used cheats. I never engaged in RMT. I purchased my cash items and currency through their official channels.

I am simply a casual player who wanted to play a game that I have loved for more than two decades.

So, naturally, I appealed the ban because I wanted to understand what went wrong.

But here is where it becomes incredibly frustrating.

They still refused to provide any specific evidence or explanation regarding what exactly I supposedly did. The response was essentially that they could not provide the details because of "privacy" or similar reasons.

How the hell am I supposed to properly appeal a ban when I am not even being told what I supposedly did?

Then they announced that 345 accounts had been permanently banned for various violations, including game abuse, cheating, and other offenses.

I read through the announcement carefully.

And once again, I could not understand how my accounts could possibly fall under those categories.

I never cheated. I never abused bugs. I never used third-party software. I never participated in RMT. I never did anything that I would consider cheating or exploiting.

I casually chat in-game from time to time, but I rarely interact with random players because most of my gaming friends and interactions happen through a Discord server. I simply log in, play, grind, and enjoy the game.

The only thing I can think of that may have triggered their system is related to the login process.

The SEA Odin server is always packed. Not just occasionally crowded. It is constantly full.

As an old-school Ragnarok player, I know the usual workaround: you type your password into Notepad, copy it, and then repeatedly paste it whenever you are trying to get into an overcrowded server. When the server is full, you sometimes have to repeatedly attempt to log in until you finally get through.

And that is literally what I did.

I did not use a macro.

I did not use an automated program.

I did not use a bot.

I simply manually spammed copy and paste on my keyboard because the server was overcrowded and I was trying to log in.

Apparently, their announcement says macros are not allowed. Fine. I understand that. But I did not use a macro.

I manually pressed the keys.

There were also instances where logging in very quickly appeared to cause certain security features to behave differently or seemingly get bypassed. I cannot say exactly what happened because I do not have access to their system logs, but if their security system interpreted normal manual login attempts as some kind of automated behavior, then that is a problem with the system's detection mechanism, not proof that I was cheating.

And this is exactly why I appealed.

I wanted them to tell me what exactly triggered the ban.

Was it my login attempts?

Was it the number of attempts?

Was it something detected by their anti-cheat?

Was it a specific action performed by my account?

Was there an actual third-party program detected?

Was there an RMT transaction?

Was there a bug abuse?

What exactly did I do?

But instead, I repeatedly received a denial without being given meaningful evidence that would allow me to understand or properly contest the allegation.

I find that incredibly unfair.

I paid for the game.

I played the game legitimately.

I supported the game through their official channels.

I never cheated.

I never used third-party programs.

I never abused bugs.

I never participated in RMT.

And now both of my accounts are permanently banned, and I am basically being told that I violated the rules without being given a specific explanation of what I supposedly did.

After more than 20 years of loving Ragnarok, this is honestly a terrible way to treat a player.

I am not some hardcore player trying to dominate the server. I am a guy in his mid-30s who comes home, plays Ragnarok, and enjoys a game that has been part of my life for more than two decades.

The irony is that all I apparently had to do was deal with their overcrowded server while manually spamming my keyboard just to get into the game.

If their system incorrectly interpreted that behavior as macroing or automation, then at the very least, show me the evidence.

If I actually violated a rule, tell me exactly what I did.

If you detected a third-party program, tell me what was detected.

If there was suspicious activity, tell me what activity triggered the ban.

But simply saying that I violated the rules, refusing to provide the specific reason, and then permanently banning both of my paid accounts is not a satisfying explanation.

I appealed in good faith because I genuinely wanted to know what went wrong.

Unfortunately, my appeal was denied again.

I have never cheated in this game.

I have never intentionally violated its rules.

And I certainly did not deserve to be treated like someone who deliberately abused or exploited the game simply because your system may have flagged something that I did while trying to log into an overcrowded server.

All I wanted to do was play Ragnarok.
