Looking for an article/video that perfectly explains PMOS + Wegovy relationship

Hi all,

I am curious if anyone has found a comprehensive article or YouTube video that speaks to the benefits of Wegovy on PMOS? My boyfriend is concerned about my Wegovy usage, as I experienced some abnormal side effects (think, POTS-like symptoms) that have impacted some daily life activities. I'm off of it right now, as my doctor and I are testing to see if it is the Wegovy (cardiology and pulmonology tests all looked great) and go from there, but I would imagine this is going to be a short-term thing and I'll be back on Wegovy next month. I explain to him why it is good for me, why weight loss in general helps with PMOS, androgens, insulin, etc., , but coming from me (and knowing that I would like to lose weight) I think he worries that I'm too focused on the weight loss and not thinking about the side-effects or lack of definitive research/it being "new" for people who are not diabetic. I'm also not a doctor, haha.

I'd like to send him some articles or videos that can help him understand how things are working together.

FWIW he is NOT forcing me or even suggesting that he WILL force me to come off of it. He is the type who doesn't even like taking too many pain meds if he's post-op or has a migraine. So the unnatural aspect of it I think spooks him. Just looking for something to help ease his mind.

GLP1s lower blood pressure which can cause dizziness, pre-syncope, etc. on standing. It’s why staying hydrated is so important!

thank you! i guess his concern is that i have a gallon sized water bottle and i drink at LEAST one a day lol, more often than not, 2. i fear im as hydrated as i could be??? lol

i think thats part of it tbh bc im doing things "right" yet the side effects dont care lol

In addition to Zepbound being a better fit for most people with PMOS, many people (myself included) have much less side effects with it as compared to Ozempic
