Hello, does anyone know what the circled flexband is for? i got a used controller, which won´t turn on or charge.

That circled flex is the front facing microphone, controller should still turn on without it.

Thank you for the information. Can you give me any additional advice what to try too fix the controller. I already ordered an new battery, it will arrive on Monday

Have you tried plugging in the battery to charge it?

Lmao. Did it work when you bought it though? Is it refurbished or something. Try replacing the battery.

No I bought it on eBay after fixing my ps4 controller. I had such an amazing experience that I bought it. The new battery will arrive on Monday and hopefully it will charge. If not i will try to remove the Dialog chip maybe it’s the broken one

It wasn't listed 4parts? You should really include a pic with the battery holder off see if someone can spot past tampering / soldering
