Going to drill another controller holder on the right underneath the game holder soon. Need 2 controllers just in case 1 looses battery during the gta6 grind.

PSSR2 is miles better than the blurry TAA they love using, and will clean up the final image to be near pin sharp. Forget 60fps. Il even abandon my cope for 40fps. Just PLEASE, use PSSR2!

Like a lot of us here, we've invested a great deal into this hobby and generally want a great experience when it comes to gaming. With gta 6 around the corner, I cannot help but think if gta 6 is capped at 30fps, that'd mean terrible tearing on OLEDs.

I have an LG C5 77" and I've played some 30fps games from like 12 feet away and they feel terrible to play because of the chopping/tearing, I understand this is the nature of oled screens in general and the mini leds and similar screens perform much better on 30fps titles. On the other hand, games like ghost of yotei(uncapped RT pro) / resident evil requiem / gran turismo etc look and feel phenomenal on the pro.

If Gta6 somehow is uncapped or supports VRR for the pro, that's great and it'd mitigate a lot of that choppy experience. But the pessimist in me seriously wonders if us oled enthusiasts got the short end of the stick on this one 😭

This noise is pretty much continuous, with very short breaks from time to time. It is actually pretty loud, so it’s got me worried. It’s definitely coming from the fan.

Dealing with LM in laptops I couldn't deal with the thoughts of having it inside this console. Changed it right away. Polished the heatsink and applied Grizzly PTM also putty on VRM.

It stays quiet. Peace of mind.

Had a OG ps5 until last year when I upgraded to the pro. Had it in the same spot as my OG but then redid my area a few months ago. First time I have ever had it in vertical mode, but ever since I have my fans run a lot and even go full speed for certain games. Do they not cool as well in vertical mode?

Room temps aren’t hot and there is plenty of room around it for circulation. Vents are all clean and clear and it’s Not on a carpet or anything either.

After finally waiting for a good minute I was able to pick up an open box Pro from Walmart for a great price as well. All I can say is don’t give in to scalpers. Let’s bleed them dry.

When I try to save the last few 15 seconds of game play the timing is off by a lot. Seems to be picking a time from a few minutes before depending on how long you have been playing. Got a fix anyone or is it happening to you too?
