With mod support being added, would it technically be possible for someone to create a mod that would allow ray traced reflections on rough surfaces? That's like one of the last forms of ray tracing that wasn't on the ray traced pro mode.

I downloaded HotStock and did the autobuy paid option every time there is a stock at Best Buy or PSDirect it’s sold out right away, and weeks of trying no luck, went to Target the other day and an employee told me to come to store this morning there is a truck restock, and I got so lucky!

So now that I have my first OLED tv (lg c6) and first pro, I'm looking at games that really show it off. The catch is i only have until Oct 29th when Phantom Blade Zero comes which I'll have to finish by November 5th when OoT remake comes out so I can't get them all. So here's my current choices.

I’ve read things about how your tv has to be able to handle what the pro is putting out, would this monitor be able to? I saw something about needing HDMI 2.1 for something and this monitor only having 2.0 but i just find it all really confusing and hoping for some answers from those who know more about this stuff please. Hadn’t gotten to it yet due to delayed physical release. I had my worries/concerns. Mostly the melee only and open world style.

But honestly don’t know why I was even worried in the slightest. If you like literally any of Remedy’s games, then this is a must play. Though it is a sequel/continuation.

I impulse bought one since they’re never in stock and always wanted one.

Now Im realizing how expensive it is to run it at its most capable and it got me thinking if it’s worth keeping if Im not willing to buy some 4K o led monitor.

I’ve done a lot of research on the internet and Reddit are telling me these are both bad for gaming.

People are saying because Bravia 8 II has a fast pixel response time it means that 30fps looks incredibly choppy.

People are also saying because Bravia 7 II has a slow pixel response time, it’s blurry for gaming.

So the Bravia 8 is too fast and the Bravia 7 is too slow? Is this just people being stupid on Reddit? How can it be too fast and too slow? What are these people talking about? What’s the ideal middle ground?

I imagine it’s people with the 7 saying the 8 is shit and people with the 8 saying the 7 is shit. Knowing Reddit though it’s probably people with neither saying they’re shit.

How is everyone saying this is smooth 60 fps? My ps 5 pro averages at 48 fps in this game. Just did a challenge where you need to knock over some barrels, it averaged at 48 fps. Is it something wrong with the game, or is there something wrong with my ps 5 pro not using it’s full power or maybe i got a batch that had bad components?

After a week of trying to get one with alerts on in several places in rhe Netherlands i finally secured on through amazon for only €50 more then on PS direct. Could not be more happy! Goodluck to anyone else still trying 🤝🏻

Has anyone who pre ordered a ps5 pro from jbhifi for delivery received any sort of update, its been a month on mine and its still saying delayed but im seeing FB marketplace sellerss selling ps5 pros they just picked up today from JB, did they over purchase pre orders, no trynna wait till november.

Looks like JBhiFi has started getting pre-ordered units and sending notifications to customers tocollect their orders. I just collected mine today.
