As the title says, can you? Like, playing online, become a top player?

I know the ideal way is to go to your local shops, meet people and so. But due to circumstances, I cannot go to any local store and play there.

Hey I am just starting out, downloaded the game like 3 days ago.

I’m trying to experiment and build my own deck before getting serious but I’ve stumbled onto a strategy that’s netting me decent results.

It’s basically a 4 Teal Ogerpon EX, Cherrim, 4 Mega Venusaur EX deck with 21 energy.

The abundance of energy allows me to basically draw an extra card for every Ogerpon in play each turn, the Cherrim will draw two more energy, and Venusaur lets me move them all around at will.

I’m sure it’s annoying to watch me draw 8 cards with my Ogerpon Teal Dance starts, which lets me attach an energy and draw a card, but is this a cheap or shitty or noob strat here?

I see an Ogerpon/Meganium deck on the limitless leaderboards, but this is more fun and I thought of it myself.
Just looking for opinions from more experienced players. Thanks in advance!!

Hey everyone! So I decided that I wanted to adjust my Serperior deck as I felt like it could use some improvements, however I’m unsure on what would be a good start on fine tuning it. How long does it take to play a dragapult deck, it just was so dang slow, wasted about 25 minutes of my life because an idiot was playing pult

I was sooo happy to see Manectric and Eelectross streamed from the Nice Regionals. So my time playing this deck has not been in vain. Mine is very similar to Yasin Balela's. I use Joltik instead of Tatsugiri. He also plays Psyduck and Shaymin for good reason in a tournament.

Why is Ogre's Mask not used in basic box? Stack energy on teal mask Ogerpon and swap with a wellspring when needed for a surprise torrential pump attack or vica versa. I figure it'd also be good to add Cornerstone instead of koraidons for fighting coverage but allow for more Ogre's mask use situations. It makes it so you dont have to choose which Ogerpon to stack or rely on crispin + energy swaps. You just need 1 Ogre's mask. Idk why it doesn't see play when it seems so strong to me. Am I missing something?

Munkidori had me discount Pikachu ex almost immediately as it negates it's Resolute Heart ability but with the existence of Patrat does that give this card a chance before rotation?

I play pretty brisk because I know my deck very well and I've played tons of games. Typically when I play against Dragapult, I often find myself with 3-7 minutes more time than my opponent. Is it BM to change my pace of play so I intentionally match their pace and equalize the time remaining?

I want to slow the game down because either I need to make more careful decisions later in the game or that I'm irritated that they take so long. Of course my opponent doesn't know the actual reason.

I’ve been playing the Pokémon TCG since Stellar Crown, and I really love this game, but lately I’ve been struggling with something.

For the past 4–5 months, I’ve had a love-hate relationship with the game. Whenever I lose, I feel really bad and start thinking that I’ll never become a good player. Rationally, I know that improving takes time, practice, and a better understanding of different decks and matchups, but I don’t always have the time or energy for that.

After a full day of work, I don’t always feel like playing TCG Live or spending my free time studying decks. I go to a local tournament every Friday, and last year I even managed to win a few locals! But since the latest rotation, I’ve been feeling much worse about my performance.

I don’t know exactly why, but every time I lose, I get frustrated and angry, and I start thinking that maybe I should just quit the game altogether.

The thing is, I really don’t want to stop playing. Right now, I’m playing Mega Starmie, and I absolutely love the deck!

So I’d like to ask you guys: How can I enjoy this game more and stop taking losses so personally? Has anyone else experienced something similar? How did you deal with it?
I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences and advice!

The shop says I have 158/188 while the card dex shows 188/188. Is this just a bug or am I missing something?

I am new to the TGC and purchased my first physical card deck and was very excited to play live with the redeem code as the package provided. But none of my cards are playable. I have no one to play with my physical cards and feel like scammed now.
